ISDII Warrior Report # 56 (2015-05-17)

High Admiral Frodo March reporting for the ISDII Warrior on this Sunday the 17th of May 2015.

Commodore's Thoughts

Warriors,

What was probably my favourite ship competition in a long time, maybe even ever, has just ended. It was loads of fun watching our skilled guys steal high scores from our rivals on the ISD Hammer. I cackled maniacally at least a few dozen times in the last 30 or so days.

Before I announce the results, I'd like to thank HA Dempsey for being a good sport. The Hammer COM lost 12 High scores, one of which is still pending. I'm sure revenge is being plotted as we speak, but everything to date was done with much class. Much obliged.

In total, 30 High Scores were earned by four pilots. Many more tried their best to achieve high scores without success. Those efforts are to be commended since High Scores in a very established mission compendium are not easily gained. 15 High scores out of the the 30 were thefts from the Hammer.

Without any more delay, allow me to announce the winner(s); congratulations to GN Pickled Yoda who is henceforth the COM Protector with 27 competition points and 11 High Scores. Second place goes to none other than last year's COM Protector, LC Tempest, who valiantly defended his title until the bitter end. He had 22 competition points with 12 High Scores. Third place goes to MAJ Repulsor with 8 points with 6 high scores. Honourable mention to COL Mark Schueler who was our fourth High Scorer.

Medal recommendations are on the SOO's desk. Here's what the COM Protector flight's roster looks like this time around:

COMMODORE'S FLIGHT - TIE FIGHTER
NICKNAME: "Frown's Fear"
MOTTO: "Lasers are for Losers"
1) GN Pickled Yoda
2) LC Tempest
3) MAJ Repulsor

Let's check in with our Wing Commander, Colonel Gilbert H. Frown

Q1: So where's the goat?

A1: I've assigned him some tasks that needed his special attention in the Theta flight lounge.

Q2: Sounds like fun. Are you happy with the competition results?

A2: I'm just glad it is over. I would watch my back if I was General Yoda. Tempest does not take defeat lightly... Or so he doesn't in my nightmares. I really need to renew my prescription for sleeping aids...

Q3: Raise the Flag is coming up, what can we expect from you?

A3: I shall be ever vigilant in the briefing room, guiding your every move in the cockpit. By that, I mean that I will give you a secretly misleading briefing and hand you over to the guy with the robes. He's usually there.

...That's enough for now, Sir...

Conclusion

As you may have noticed, trivia will end at the end of the month, and we will be committed 100% to RTF, as there will be no ship competitions. It is imperative that all your TC activity be concentrated on defending our title as the Flagship. The Hammer must not be underestimated. Our preparation must be on point, and our activity in June: insurmountable. These are our objectives, please adhere to them as much as you can.

I'd like to thank the SOO and TCCOM for awarding me another Gold Star of the Empire, this time for a year of work as your Commodore. These awards are special for me because they represent the hard work and dedication your CMDRs devote to you on a daily basis. Without them making me look good on the regular, I would not be able to do my job here at the top of our roster. What makes them look good, by the way, is your activity. So well done all.

The only way forward is Through,

In service,
