Commodore's Thoughts

Warriors,

I can hardly contain my excitement for next month's Raise the Flag Competition. It's a really good thing that we have a COM protector competition going on, because it's keeping my mind off of it. Actually, that competition is heating up quite nicely, but I won't take away Frown's thunder, since he will be talking about it at length in his section below.

The Ship Evaluation for April was sent to the Admiralty just moments ago. Things improved since March, and I'm happy to say that we're experiencing a rise in activity here on the Warrior.

Legions of Skirmish have been peppering my inbox. I'm glad to report that you are all taking very nicely to this new form of activity recognition. Keep it up.

LC Plif will be sending out trivia week 13 results via the Google Groups separately from this report. Our good Wing Commander has been spam filtering my inbox for me and got a little too strict with incoming mail. I promise this will be fixed soon.

Speaking of LC Plif, he was awarded the Silver Star for his hard work as COOA in the last several months. He has also coincidentally resigned from the COOA position, apparently to keep a better eye on Master's drinking...

Our very own CM Hawkins got three of his TIE Free missions released into the mighty mission compendium this week. I urge you all to check them out.

And many thanks to all of your well wishes during my convalescence. Things got a little creepy for a minute when a certain officer took matters in his own hands, but you can't argue with results!

Q1: How about an update on the COM Protector Competition?

A1: Fine. Fine. Your impatience is almost as evident as your lack of wingman etiquette.

This week, LC Tempest, whom I fear greatly, has considerably tightened the gap between himself and the leader in the competition, overtaking MAJ Repulsor as the current runner up. He has 15 points now. GN Yoda is only ahead by five.

Q2: How exciting! How many HSs were stolen!?

A2: Tempest stole one from the Hammer Commodore, lowering the total to 92. He also stole two from other pilots of the Hammer.

Q3: Damn. Tempest is pretty scary after all.

A3: You should never doubt me. Doubting me is a mistake.

...That's enough for now, Sir...


Conclusion

20 or so days until RTF begins. There will not be a ship competition following the COM protector one, in order to prepare for this.
