Epsilon Squadron Weekly Report #54 – 11th March 2012


CMDR-TCS-PROF/LC Dunta Polo here reporting in for Epsilon.


A quiet week this time around, with just two pilots checking in, though the same seems to have been the case with the TIE Corps as a whole. The trivia and flight competitions are being resumed as of today, so good luck pilots.

1) Dempsey’s Picture Frame #1


Start Date: March 1, 2012
End Date: March 30, 2012
Groups involved: TIE Corps
Awards: IS-GR/SR/BR (weekly, score bonus, and overall awards)
Description: Following some of the Mania competitions of previous, a new picture based competition is to be held... For three weeks (a week is actually 10 days...) you will get 10 pictures. From there on it is simple - whoever gets most correct wins. Weekly and Overall prizes available. Location of pictures to be announced via TC mailing list. Open to all in TC.


2) Epsilon Trivia #2


Start Date: March 11, 2012
End Date: March 18, 2012
Groups involved: Epsilon Squadron
Awards: IS-BR
Description: The first pilot to submit correct answers via email for all of the following questions will win an IS-BR. You have until midnight on Sunday 18th March to participate.



1. What was the name of the Star Destroyer that captured the Tantive IV?



2. What planet did Princess Leia identify as the location of the Rebel base while being interrogated by Grand Moff Tarkin?



3. How many Rebel craft attacked the first Death Star?


3) Epsilon Pilot of the Month


Start Date: March 1, 2012
End Date: March 30, 2012
Groups involved: Epsilon Squadron

Awards: IS-BW
Description: This competition is all about flight activity. One mission flown gives you 1 point. A mission with a high score is worth 2 points instead. The pilot with the highest score at the end of the month wins an IS-BW. Good luck!

Closing Comments

Hopefully with the re-launch of both Epsilon competitions, and a new round of Dempsey’s picture competition imminent, there is something for all pilots to participate in. I am happy to say that the BSF system is finally becoming reliable, and competition\medal approvals are being dealt with.
