A late report on my part, please excuse - RL at present is being sucked into the vortex of a 2 week course that is encompassing every waking moment, suffice to say I'll be happier in 9 days! That being said I'm fairly happy now with a steady trickle of activity carrying on in the background, while the ongoing tyranny of our beloved Gilbert may be close to an end - the missing HA Frodo was lately tracked as far as the Wheel, while the recent clues are strongly indicative of his next likely stop. With any luck we can pick up the trail afresh or even catch up, flying TIE DB 16 may well speed up that process - I'll be doing so on completion of this report, so join me!

I'm pleased to note Yoda and Marcus again stepping forward with flight activity this week, in light of the previous Thetan Aces rounds being contested only by myself I've removed myself from the equation and will only be eligible for the awards if 5 or more of the squadron participate. Therefore in the week up until last Sunday the single LoC of Marcus and Yoda's two TIE battles claim them IS-BWs. Well done! The second of Yoda's battles is still pending approval by the TAC, but the A-COM is aware as it was submitted late for the last comp stage by myself - mea culpa.

Torres has continued to smash through IWATS back catalogue with a further 7 courses passed, as a personal note I'll get around to ensuring that the appropriate acronyms appear on his ID line to reflect them - I'd suggest that all of you consult your own profiles and ensure nothing is missing from them, or indeed there unexpectedly.

My brief love affair with the GOG downloaded TIE Fighter has continued with a few more battles flown, for any of you not aware the next tranche of LA games includes XWA as well as a number of other RTS and shooters. If anyone has experienced the usual array of issues in running the games I'd suggest that the GOG site is an easy workaround if you can spare the dollars/euros/pounds!

…Why would he meander across the Core systems, surely the NR has some sort of border control. We're still pretty much at war with them - I know we're a small Imperial remnant, but we must be on travel watch-lists at least. I was on the Relentless when the COM's navigational error dropped us on the wrong side of the line, we were practically... excreting… Mon Cal light cruisers and frigates - how exactly does one of our most recognisable senior military officers simply waltz off to a casino in the middle of enemy territory? Where's he headed next; Coruscant for afternoon tea with the Solos, perhaps a safari with the Jedi on Ossus?...

...The CMDR is... brace yourselves guys... out on exercise at the minute, running attack drills with prospective trainees for our vacant spot. I know you're all as concerned as I am about this recent flight activity of his, I know he's had a rough time of late, it might be just some sort of mid-life crisis... you know, proving he's still "got it". We know he hasn't of course and probably hasn't seen "it" in the last decade, but I think its time for an intervention. Yoda, Gilad, you're senior, we'll let you take the lead, Mark and Nebular can sort the banner - make it big, something like "We still love you, which is why we want you to STOP", is it worth putting "INTERVENTION" on it in big old letters??? We'll do some sketches, but this is tiring me out, drink? The old man won't be back onboard for 5 or 6 hours...
