Welcome to 2015, pilots of the Delta Sqn, Wing I and the rest of the TC!
It's a new year, with new opportunities for all I guess :) So let's see what we can do. But before we start the new year, I have one last MSE to do for 2014.
My own activity dropped a bit last week as I came down with a flu worse than I can remember having before, but the biological warfare going on inside me seems
to be coming to an end, with my immune system declaring the situation under control. It appears to be now mopping up enemy forces. Let's hope they don't take
prisoners!
In the mean time, most of you noticed I started a few TC wide competitions. More info on the
competitions page on the site of course, and in this report
right here. As for some short info:
The GoG games for TIE and XW will require you to fly the original missions for TIE and XW. Each battle/ToD on a fresh pilotfile.
For TIE, I will supply a clean pilotfile to be used when we hit Battle 4 (1-3 are always available on a n ew file) and I'll probably have to do something similar
with XW for ToD 2 and further. Beware you need to screenshot every XW mission. The pilotfule is useless....
Mobile Gaming Mania: alas, the games I use are Android. I have no idea if they are also available for iPhone. If this one goes
on to be running the rest of the year, I might be looking for someone with an iPhone to help me out there.
Weekly riddles: not yet approved, but the TCCOM is still on leave and I'll assume it's not a problem. See below.
Now you may have noticed that the last few reports of last year, I kept track of my progression through my goals for the year. This year, I have set some more goals
for myself. It helps with the motivation, so I urge you all to do something similar. What do you wanna achieve this year? Going crazy and ambitious as always, I've
set my goals rather high. More on that at the end!
A while back, the TCCS approved a new platforms for the TC (Galactic Starfighter). With the LoA of our SOO, its implementation has stranded,
and so I've decided to get working on that. Hence my mail recently about them. So far, only a handful of answers. I thought people were playing these, guess I was wrong.
I'll still implement it, so reporting matches for Galactic Starfighter should be possible soon.
On the fun part, there's two X-wing battles queued for the TAC Office. One is nearing the final stage of testing, the other has just entered
testing, and so they both should be released soon. If you like X-wing, you're gonna like these (I hope).
If you remember, back when the current TCCOM got the gig, he had Jarek La'an as his SOO, and they started a massive campaign called
The Karana Initiative. Although it started out great, somewhere along the line things didn't happen anymore. There was some fiction, there
were some battles created, but the thing died like a candle flame in the night. Too bad, there was plenty of potential. We'll have to make sure that won't happen next
time. To make a long story short, there's a battle in the TACcy queue to finish up the storyline. Perhaps next time we'll do better!
Not much else to say I think. Pilots - get to your fighters! We need to defend the EH from the forces of the enemy. I don't know who that is at this moment, but I'm sure
we'll find out soon enough!

 My first year here I had a weekly joke. Last year, a weekly funny image. This year, a riddle. First pilot to send me the correct answer wins. Pilots are encouraged to
send their answers to the entire mailing list, and so sending a reply is only useful if your answer hasn't been sent in yet! Each victory earns you an IS-BR. Unless it's a 5th
victory, you then get a IS-SR. Unless it's a 10th victory, which gives you an IS-GR. A 25th victory will give you an IS-PR!

Delta's Weekly Trivia
Each day of the week (Mon-Fri) you will receive an email with a triviaquestion, same as before. 3 pts for the first correct answer, 2 pts forsecond and 1 pt for 3rd. At the end of the week, the one with themost points wins the shiny. As usual, there's extra shinies available foraccumulating set amounts of points.

Wing I/ISDII Hammer competitions
Hammer on Patrol
Each week the COM assigns 3 free missions in his report. Fly them for weekly points (highest score based),Weekly and overall winners on all sub.comps.
Hammer on Recon
Each week, MP pilots can submit screenshots for Team Battle matches (most kills wins) and Domination matches(most beacons captured wins). At the end of the month, overall winners get extra shinies.
Hammer's Pilot of the Month
For every flown SP mission from the TC mission compendium and for every LoC earned each pilot receives 1 pointfor the HPotM competition. The pilot with most points at the end of the month is the ISD II Hammer'sPilot of the month and receives an IS-GW. Second will receive an IS-SW and third an IS-BW.
TC wide competitions
Ace of the TIE Corps
Each mission flown during a month will count towards your score, with shinies for the top 3 pilots.At the end of the year, the TC's Top Gun will win a rare IS-PW!
MP Ace of the TIE Corps
Each multiplayer victory flown during a month will count towards your score, with shinies for the top 3 pilots.At the end of the year, the TC's Top Gun will win a rare IS-PW!
Star Conflict PvE Initiative
Send your SC PvE debriefing screenshots in. They will be graded for efficiency and grouping with other TC pilots.Monthly IS-GW/SW/BW available.
The GOG Games: TIE Fighter
Fly one original TIE Battle a month. Highest score wins, participation also earns medals.

I won't bore you with my goals progress every week, just once a month :)
be promoted to Imperator in the Fleet Commander's Honor Guard (307 points to go)
be promoted to Top Ace 4th class in the Combat Ratings (133 points to go)
earn at least 150 IS-*W medals (150 to go)
close at least 200 bug reports (200 to go)
Imperator has always been the end goal, as soon as I got to flying. This year, it's within my grasp, finally! To do so, I'll need to earn a lot of IS-*W medals, and so I set
a rather high goal for those. But, there's the HoP, HoR competitions, and the GOG games, TC Ace, TC MP Ace, for a total of a possible 23 IS-BW or better :) Then some yearly
stuff, and I expect another RtF this year, so it should be doable....
