Another week has slipped by with some increases in overall activity, so I'm content to note that we're in a decent place so far this winter. I've finally returned to flying in the form of SC and it was a pleasure to note another LoC drop into my inbox with MAJ Caine's name on it - well done! More of the same all round can't hurt, so those of you with the time can score some easy activity.

TIE Golf has drawn down, so while we wait to see final scores I'd like to thank Yoda and Gilad for their efforts in flying. In addition both pilots among many others, including COL Darkhill have continued to submit to the Warrior Trivia comp. All this gives me that reassuring feeling that together we're doing something right... On a slight tangent the MSE was submitted just after the last WSR and is pending review by the COM and TCCOM, reccs were mostly MoCs but a small number of merit medals were suggested, so we'll see what comes back. I'm conscious that very few of us have anywhere further to be promoted to and that command opportunities can be scarce, but I'd encourage you all to set a target to achieve before the end of 2014 and over the next few MSEs - whether it's a medal you don't have, flying TIE or designing a mission for the first time - set a goal and work towards it. It's clear from the TC list that plenty of pilots have a lot of experience they're more than happy to share, very little of it grudgingly! Nothing improves a gaming experience more than getting down to the roots of it, modifying it, and getting full value from it time after time.

Other than that rambling set of comments there's little to report, the SOO is still unfortunately absent, but after my own internet snags I can fully understand how easy it can be to drop off the grid - in any case the other Admirals have got things covered, including a project I started but never finished in my own time as SOO - a review of the TCPM which is largely correct but does contain some errors, particularly with regards to structure and a few processes. When Dan has finished with it I'm sure it'll be a very useful resource.

In closing, MBs are seeing an uplift in use - fantastic! I've adjusted the cookie settings as suggested by Yoda so the site should now remember login details when selected. Theta and the Warrior have numerous topics running, so get involved for an easy activity win.

...SO how does it work exactly... Twin Ion Engines? But what about the excess heat and exhaust products, where the hell do they go when... oh, that makes sense - I thought Frown's office was warmer and a little... gassy... last time. I thought he'd just had a bad reaction to whatever he doesn't know the chef is adding to his food. Well done Sigma is all I can say, I don't think even we would be stupid enough to pack a highly explosive engine matrix into something smaller than an astromech. Explosive, yes thats I said explosive, you did think about that right?...
