Welcome all to my 100TH report as Commander of this illustrious squadron. It has been my honor to lead these fine
pilots for nearly 2 years now. Three more days and I will hit the exact 2 year mark!
As you may have noticed, I skipped last week's report. This was due to the simple fact that I was out of town all week until Sunday and
so felt it best to not write a report about a week that I completely missed, and so this report will span the past two weeks :)
First off, the Dempsey's 100 competition to celebrate the 100 reports has finished. As I expected
(unfortunately) participation was not what I had hoped for and what it should have been. To make up for it a bit, several people joined
in the trivia that are a rare sight there, so kudos for that. It didn't change the outcome though, as once again MAJ
Clark took it down, but he had to fight for it this time....
A lot of medals were awarded the past week (see the list below) which is good. I like that. What I didn't like was winning only two medals
in Hammer on Patrol this week, as not one, but two pilots managed to beat me in the TIE mission. The pain is
eased though in the knowledge that one of my own pilots did that, so the medal still came to this squadron :)
The second month of Delta's Top Ace finished, and the winner is CPT Fenn who
managed to skip ahead of his competition by only 5 points! Grats to you, Captain!
To those who missed it - Warrior COM HA Frodo March has decided to revive the old TACcy competition known as
TIE Golf. I'm not sure until when he is accepting entries, but if you can fly TIE missions, I suggest you
sign up for the chance to win lots of shinies - this is only the third competition this year where you can earn yourself an Iron Star with
Platinum Wings, after RtF and Ace of the TC, and it's unlikely you'll get another shot this year!
More exciting news: your Tactical Officer has received the last XWA battles using patches that have been fixed by the CA:TAC so that you can
fly them again on a 64 bit system. Testflying is scheduled for this week, and they should be released soon!
The last news to hit the mailing list this week was the announcement that after many many years, someone has surpassed COL
Brucmack in the Combat Ratings, and so the TC has a new Top Gun. The COO has decided COL Brucmack will retain his title as Top Ace due
to the changes in multiplayer games, which makes it easier to earn loCs these days. Nonetheless, this is quite an achievement!

You know the drill - this just shows who did what, assuming I know of it. Usually I will. If you did something that
should have been here - send me an e-mail :)

I'm just going to keep this list here. I also noticed evertyhing is progressing along nicely, except the last one. I also added a rather ambitious one regarding IS-SWs, lessee if I can do that.
There's 18 full weeks left this year, and I have 33 left to earn!
be promoted to Templar in the Fleet Commander's Honor Guard (completed)
be promoted to Ace 1st class in the Combat Ratings (92 points to go)
reach 100 IS-SW medals (14 to go)
release 100 squadron reports (completed)
close at least 100 bug reports (90 to go)
