Welcome to another Delta squadron weekly status report.

As you may or may not have picked up - we're once again experiencing some email difficulties, with emails sent out by the site not reaching some members sometimes. Apparantly, the hosting company doesn't know the differebnce gbetween a business and an online gaming club, which seems to be at the heart opf the matter. The CS and FC are looking into it and exploring options.

Aside from this, it's been a pretty quiet week, unless you happen to be Commodore of the ISDII Hammer. Someone's gotten very very familiar with the pilotfile submission form :)

There are however a few more things that ought to be mentioned: most importantly, SL Simomime was promoted to full Lieutenant to to his activity in StarConflict. Congratulations, sir!

Secondly, LCM Cruise has been so active around the actual flying on the same platform, that he was awarded an Imperial Security Medal for his hard work. Such medals are rare, so cherish it :)

Thirdly, the COM has changed the rules regarding the Hammer on Patrol competition. Before, only the top 2 pilots would earn a shiny each week. Now, every week you participate and don't win a medal, you earn a point, and acquire enough points, and you will earn yourself an Iron Star with Bronze Wings for your efforts!

Ah - and before I forget - the MSE's have been done, so expect medals in your inboxes shortly!

Competitions are the livelihood of this thing we do for fun. I encourage all of you to enter as many competitions as you want to/can. And just let me know about it! Don't forget to check out the website for more information.

Delta squadron competitions

Delta's Weekly Trivia

Each day of the week (Mon-Fri) you will receive an email with a trivia

question, same as before. 3 pts for the first correct answer, 2 pts for

second and 1 pt for 3rd. At the end of the week, the one with the

most points wins the shiny. As usual, there's extra shinies available for

accumulating set amounts of points.

Wing I/ISDII Hammer competitions

Hammer on Patrol

Each week the COM assigns 3 free missions in his report. Fly them for weekly points (highest score based),

weekly platform and monthly overall winners get the shinies.

Hammer's Pilot of the Month

For every flown SP mission from the TC mission compendium and for every LoC earned each pilot receives 1 point

for the HPotM competition. The pilot with most points at the end of the month is the ISD II Hammer's

Pilot of the month and receives an IS-GW. Second will receive an IS-SW and third an IS-BW.

TC wide competitions

Ace of the TIE Corps

Each mission flown during a month will count towards your score, with shinies for the top 3 pilots.

At the end of the year, the TC's Top Gun will win a rare IS-PW!

MP Ace of the TIE Corps

Each multiplayer victory flown during a month will count towards your score, with shinies for the top 3 pilots.

At the end of the year, the TC's Top Gun will win a rare IS-PW!

Star Conflict's Beacon Hunt 2

This will be a test of your skill to capture as many beacons as you can in one round with a victory.

In layman's terms, in a Beacon Hunt mode game, capture the beacon as many times as you can in one round.

Hammer's Banner Competition

The ISD II Hammer needs a banner. Power up your graphic software and create something impressive including

an ISDII. Make sure it also features the Hammer's motto and/or Nickname in some way.

This is the TIE Corps

Write an 'about us' section for the TC website.

MUD Bug Hunter

Play on the MUD at mud.fox-developments.co.uk, port 6100. Whenever you find a bug, report it.

Top bug spotters win a special prize once the MUD goes live.
