  •   Commander's notes

Hi all and welcome to yet another one of my writings.

This week was pretty quiet for me - after cooling down a few days after last weekend's disaster I didn't do much. After all - I'd spend a few hours editing the biggest problems out of TIE TC 1, and then installed another battle via the EHBL to check something,

All my edited mission were gone. Well, I learned from that, and I'm back to where I was last week. At this rate, fixing everything is gonna take about 5 years...

But - onto happier things. After last week's medal fest, another medal fest occurred as the January MSE medals arrived this week, and I have heard that the MoCs are on their way as well. Congrats to all with your shinies and I must say - it's been awhiole since I got one of these :)

The next squadron competition is in the works. It will be something trivia like, and I'm trying to set it up in a way that speed won't count for everything as it does with the weekly trivia. Of cfourse, whoever sees the e-mail first will have the first chance to get the answers in but that never stops. Of course flying competitions don't have that problem, but well, flying competitions don't seem to be taking off, so I'm trying to find other avenues.

In that light - would all squadrons members be so kind as to send me an e-mail stating their timezone (preferably in GMT+x format)?

Probably the biggest news in a while is that the EH has finally decided to abandon the EHBL. More and more people are having trouble using it (fortunately I am not one of them), and so it was decided a while back to start offering up the unencrypted missions on the Compendium as well. So ou now have a choice. That means no more excuses to not fly :) Those who have assisted with the decrypting of all those files, once again my thanks for your time!

    Keep flying folks!

      In the headlines this week

  • grats to Clark, Shado, Nutrientman and Ras for their MSE medals as well
  • Ras Kronar steamrolls trivia
  • Jarion Renalds promoted to Epsilon III flight leader

    accumulating set amounts of points.

At the end of the year, the TC's Top Gun will win a rare IS-PW!

  • MP Ace of the TIE Corps

      Wrapping up

This month less than half the squadron received a medal for their activity in January. Although I'm happy for those that did, I'd like to see more people win one next time around. So, I urge all to do some stuff. Flying would be great, but if you are unable to, there's plenty of other stuff to do. Most of you have not completed most of the available courses in the Imperial Un iversity, and though the system is not optimal, you should be able to get some exams in. Some are hardm, but most of them can be done in less time that flying a battle! There's also fiction stuff, wiki stuff to do, and so on. Or run a competition of your own for the squadron or the TC! Plenty of options, folks, let's get active!
