As April comes to a close, it's simultaneously been a very quiet month and also a month of big changes. After serving in Lambda honorably for many years, our very own GN Genie "Blue Buns" has found that his vacation as an FM is to be cut short! GN Genie "Blue Buns" has become the new BGCOM of the Hammer Battlegroup, making him Genie "Blue Buns", Admiral of the Rear. Any Jawas who are heard calling him Butt Admiral "Blue Buns" are not to be trusted...though if you're trusting Jawas in the first place, you've already screwed up! I've heard rumors that he took the position so that he could get quarters that he doesn't have to share with a certain snoring Ithorian.

Despite it being a slow month for Lambda, we still saw Lambda pilots take multiple spots on the Killboards. Wolve earned 2nd place in the SP category with 155 missions. I tried telling him that he doesn't get a second Gold Star if he does another 4000 SP missions, but Ithorians seemingly have two mouths and no ears! Solohan got 11th place with 22 missions completed. If only he'd taken the time to do 1-2 more missions, he could've received a medal. Now all he receives is ridicule, though that's not anything new to the Ewok! In PvE, Gytheran achieved 4th place with 167 victories, proving that Jawas are formidable foes even when they're slacking off! Keeping with the trend, Solohan50 got 13th place with an impresive 69 victories. 7 more victories would've put him in 10th place, but he considers it a moral victory nonetheless. In PvP, we saw three of our pilots earn top 10 placements. Gytheran earned 3rd place with 128 PvP victories, DemWookieeCheeks earned 7th place with 72 victories and Solohan squeezed into 9th place with 4 victories!

Tip of the Month: Keep your appendages at least 5ft from Ewoks at all times. Ignore this warning at your own risk!

Highlighted Competitions:

There are various competitions held by several EH pilots. Currently in the spotlight, we have the following competitions:

• TIE Corps in Battle Season 6: A four-month long battle between squads and BGs for single-player supremacy!
• SWTOR Conquest 2: The Search For More Money: A four-month long competition to see who can earn the most Conquest in SWTOR. Organized by Lambda's own Jawa, Gytheran.
• SWTOR: Galactic Seasons IV: A 20-week long competition to see who can complete the Galactic Seasons fastest. Also organized by Lambda's own Jawa, Gytheran.
• Choose Your Own Adventure, Emperor's Hammer Edition!: A weekly fiction competition ran by CM Neurotictim
• Bantha Poodoo I (May - July 2023): A monthly SP competition where pilots give extensive reviews for a single SP battle, ran by ol' "Blue Buns" himself.

Be sure to check out all the running competitions. As Lambdas, to know the competitions you are eligible for, under "Units Involved" it must be listed as "TIE Corps", "Battlegroup I", or "Lambda Squadron".

Closing Comments

In closing, I want to thank all of you again for making Lambda an awesome squadron. Each and every pilot who participates helps make the squad a little better and I'm very pleased with how 2023 has been going. I look forward to flying with all of you!
