This is my first report as the Commodore of Battlegroup I. I have some big shoes to fill, as AD Phoenix has been tremendous as the BG1's Commodore. He has stepped down to take the new role of Warfare Officer. Let's all wish him good luck in his new role. Phoenix's new role sets him as the Gamesmaster for our various competitions. He has already overseen Imperial Storm V with great success, while this year's Squadron Remob is around the corner. To all our squadrons, start to get ready as the Remob for 2023 draws near.

I'll be using the report to highlight new (and transfer) pilots, competitions, medals and promotions as well as sharing some news.

There are a ton of competitions both current and new. Fiction, Art, Video, Puzzles, as well as flying-related for singleplayer and multiplayer across almost all our primary games. Browse your way through the competitions and pick the ones you'd enjoy the most. See below all the competitions eligible for Battlegroup I Pilots! You can find more info for each competition from its dedicated page as well as relevant discord forum post. You can also reach out to each competition's organizer if you have any questions.

The Singleplayer for April saw pilots from Alpha, Epsilon and Lambda claim positions in the top ten! While we - as Battlegroup I - dominated the Multiplayer PvP with Gamma, Delta and Lambda taking seven out of the ten spots. Not to be outdone, in the Multiplayer PvE, Gamma and Lambda put a strong showing for Battlegroup I. Season I (Jan-Apr) has also ended. Phoenix will announce the results of Season I. As of today, 1st May, Season II beings (May-Aug).

Battlegroup I is in need of a Historian (perhaps even more than one). What is a Historian you may ask? Essentially, people who would want to keep our battlegroup's main Wiki pages up-to-date, including our Battlegroup homepage, ISD pages and our NPCs.
