LCM Nova Discordia saluted General La’an as he boarded his shuttle to his new assignment. “Thank you for this opportunity, Sir.” Nova was at loss at what else to say, and already struggling to know how she would follow the General’s example. ‘Fly safe, Lieutenant Commander, I mean, Commander Discordia.’ The General smiled as the door to his shuttle closed and he was on his wasy to his next adventure. |

Welcome pilots to my first report as Epsilon Commander. First of all I would like to extend my sincere thanks to General La’an for his inspired leadership of our squadron. You will be very missed General, but I hope you still keep an eye on us and how we are doing! This is only going to be a brief first report from me, to update you all on the changeover period between General La’an tenure and the start of my own time as CMDR. Its been a very busy time for me getting used to what needs to be done in my new role, so I hope you will be patient with me pilots, whilst I learn on the job! I can only echo General La’an’s words from his last report in that I will try my best to maintain Epsilon as a friendly and relaxed community of fans, who support and are kind to each other at all times. As your CMDR, its my job to make sure you are getting the most out of your membership to the TC, so please do reach out if you need anything, or indeed if you think I have forgotten something! In other Squadron news, Feb 2023 saw some roster changes, but we go into March with a strong core group of experienced Epsilon pilots. We have also gained LCM Hoshiteru who joins us from Thunder Squadron – welcome LCM Hoshiteru! LCM Hoshiteru, as of March 2023 is now serving as our SQXO as well and I look forward to seeing how she develops in this role for our communinity. I am hoping to make regular monthly reports to you all, but keep an eye out on our Discord channel and let me know if you need anything, and I will be pleased to help. |

STANDING EPSILON POLICY:
I am requesting that you reach out to your FLs at least once a week either through email, through Discord DMs or via the squadron channel on the TC server. Squadron level communication has previously been identified as an issue - I highly recommend you join the Discord by typing ehtc.chat into your web browser. Discord is where 90% of communication within the TC now happens and the majority of day to day conversations involving this squadron. Failure to utilise it will highly limit your ability to enjoy the experience of the TC, or indeed follow what is actually happening - equally you run the risk of being transferred to the RSVs as inactive unless you tell us otherwise. |

Epsilon Squadron stands at 10 pilots strong -I hope to see Epsilon's number remain high, but where required by the review process be advised that I won't shy away from making clear recommendations on transfers. Likewise, if anyone wishes to depart the squadron please let me know and we can take the required admin action, rather than drifting out of touch over a period of months. An AWOL request for SL Lucius Scar has sadly been completed, but I’d love to see him return. I would ask that all of you look at recruiting, as we have two empty pilot seats, I like to see filled as soon as possible. |
