Squadron News

Squadrons (SWS) had a breath of a fresh air, even if just for a few days. Due to it being available to play for free for a few days, a number of new players had stepped onto the scene. For a brief moment, the queue was reasonable, getting into games in under a minute consistently. I'd like to use this opportunity to remind everyone to try and recruit, even just one new player per month! Both SWS and Battlefront 2 (BF2), make for perfect grounds for recruiting. Earlier today, Wolve mentioned that our dispatch team managed to recruit a player from Modern Warfare!

We've had a ton of medals this month as a result of a perfect storm of post-RtF, quarterly non-flying review (NGE) and the awards for communication catching up. You get a medal! And you get a medal! And you get a medal! We also had the very prestigious TUA and MUA awarded to Lambda squadron. Making this our 2nd TUA and 3rd MUA respectively!

Despite being in the first one after RtF, we have been able to put out some strong numbers on the monthly Emperor's Hammer killboards. Wolve achieved 2nd place in the SP Charts with 110 missions flown, as he continues his journey to completing the entire EH custom battle set. Solohan managed 7th with 31 missions and Ranger rounded up the top ten with tenth place and 26 missions flown! In the PvP Multiplayer front, Ranger took 2ns place with 225 LoCs with Solohan at 7th, Genie 9th, and Wookie at 10th place. Lastly, in Multiplayer PvE, Gytheran dominated with 1011 LoS, taking 1st place. Solohan took a respectable 3rd behind a resurgent Woody, while Genie took 5th.

We are entering the last month of TCIB. We have 12 days before it ends and both the Hammer and Lambda squadron are leading the pack. Let's finish with a bang!

Tip of the Month: The AI difficulty in TIE Fighter, XvT and XWA along with the type of concussion missile (regular vs advanced) affects how fast the enemy AI locks on you.

• Helmet Design for Lambda: Create your own custom Helmet! Organized by Black Ranger.
• Design the Ship and Squadron Mascots: Each Squadron have their own designated mascot! Here is your chance to design it! Organized by Genie.

Be sure to check out all the running competitions. As Lambdas, to know the competitions you are eligible for, under "Units Involved" it must be listed as "Entire TC", "ISD-II Hammer", "Wing I" or "Lambda Squadron".
