"Stay in formation," CPT Keblaomega said over comms, as Beta Squadron continued their approach.
Once in range, they locked on with 9 pairs of heavy rockets aimed perfectly at each exposed subsystem of the platform.
"Rockets away, then ready for fighters! X-wings coming in!" the captain shouted, as four groups of enemy fighters headed straight for the 9 TIE Bombers. The rockets sped away towards the target.
Instantly, the bombers spun around, readying multilock missiles as the platform erupted into flames behind them.
All but a few of the X-wings were annihilated within seconds, thanks to the coordinated targeting by Beta Squadron, with each multilock missile hitting a different target.
Not wasting a second, the bombers focused their rotary cannons on the remaining craft, drifting between the red lasers of their enemies as they finished off all remaining X-wings. "Well done, everyone. Let's head home."
