Bridge of the infamous ISDII Challenge watching the departure of the Recon Roost

Silwar’s anger about the in subordinance of his bird commanders was almost vanished. They were right. With the Challenge damaged the most in the recent battle it was only logical for the infiltrator squadrons to depart first with their assigned ship.

The rest of the battlegroup was following in a slower hyperspace route, ready to drop out to help. And still he was tense. Something was not right; he could feel it. It scratched his mind on the borders like a million angry hornets. Something was off, not right. But he had a feeling, he will have it not found out until it was too late.

He looked up and met the calm faces of his commanders, Legion, Delste and LCQ. “Orders, Commodore? He heard the soothing voice of Legion. “Yeah, prepare, your squadrons, they should rest up, we are jumping in four hours from now on. It’s going to be a long week. They must be at 100% focus at all time and ready to fight for our all lives. If we meet the enemy, we need to fend them off for as long as we can. We cannot win this battle alone; they are too many” he paused.

“Rest up, commanders and raise the flags, we’re going to war!”

Raise your hands cause RtF is here! We have prepared our Battlestations, readied up our graphic tablets and prepared pen and paper for fiction. Our food storage is filled with snacks and drinks, keep yourselves comfortable and healthy.

Our Squadron Goal this month is 100% participation, because "Dabei sein ist alles" (no. you need to look that one). Also it's nice to see the many entries we collect in Art and Fiction, nice to see more activity outside the used parameters.

Keep them coming, folks! I will review the goal in one month, or maybe do a quick RtF roundup report.

The Commordore is dead, long live the Battlegroup Commander!

No, AD Silwar is still alive and you don't need to pay the bar tab, but got his position upgraded. If you didn't know, we are in Battlegroup III, our Command Ship is still the Challenge and technically both Eagle and Firebird are assigned on the Roost. To date that is all we know about the changes, but maybe other things will happen down the line.
We also congratulate both VA Marenta and AD Phoenix Berkana to their elevation to BGCOM!

• Prompt for Battlegroup III: Having either routed the Ishtari at their first system, waited until the battle was over, or jumped to their second system and found no signs of the Ishtari there, the ISDII Challenge and its escorts now have an opportunity to talk to the locals without interference. The inhabitants here have had numerous encounters with the Ishtari but have never successfully repelled them on their own, having adapted to the raids by leaving significant food storage units in clearings on the surface so that the Ishtari take what they want and leave without much bloodshed. The locals seem anxious to tell their story and hear about the Challenge Battlegroup’s previous encounters with the Ishtari.

COMMANDERS COCKPIT

Honestly this report was almost done 10 days ago, but life got complicated with university start and my new place.
I had no stable internet (it broke up every 20 minutes and was very slow) and my liver needs a break after last week. That means close to none opportunities for me to do gaming atm, but fiction should work and maybe a graphic; we will see.
