While shutting off his TIE/LN, CM LQC-75-3 suddenly felt the by now slightly annoying buzzing of his comm in his flight suit's pocket. He keyed it to mute while climbing up and out through the main access hatch of the pristine Imperial craft. He walked off in the general direction of Inferno Squadron's quarters, and after changing out his flight suit for his duty uniform, made his way to the Briefing room. The rest of the squadron had been waiting there for him, so without hestitation, he began to bring them up to speed: "Hey Inferno. Today's mission will be a simple one. We'll be escorting the Arquitens Light Cruisers Hellfire and Illustrious. From what I've heard, they're running some reconnaissance in order to locate possible holdouts as well as get in touch with the defense fleets of some of our systems to see if they need help. Remember to key your comms to the correct frequencies, and follow your flight leaders. I'll be staying back for this mission since I've got some paperwork to catch up on, so Cody will be leading you all today. I expect to see you all back for debriefing soon. Good luck Inferno!"

Squadron News

With CPT Xylo Pethtel having to step down as our CMDR due to his studies at the ImpU taking center, I've now been assigned as your new CMDR. I plan to, with your cooperation, ensure that Inferno gains fame within the fleet for being one of the most active, highly-skilled, fun squadron to be in. I'd also like to make some changes for the better, including potentially changing our Squadron craft the next time we get the chance to do so. In the meanwhile, there's quite a few competitions being run all over the TC, in which you can all participate to have a blast, as well as earn some medals while you're at it!

Competitions and Events

Highlighted Competitions:

The TIE Corps has provided us with several competitions to participate in, namely:

• Design the Ship and Squadron Mascots: Create a graphic for a squadron which MUST include its patch and mascot in some capacity.
• The Challenge with Words: At the beginning of every month, Marenta will generate a word search and post the link.
• The Great Bounty Hunting Race: For one month, you will be racing with other bounty hunters to see who can collect the most bounties.

You can find all the above competitions and more here: current competitions. Remember that as Inferno pilots, the competitions that you're able to participate in must show "Entire TC", "ISD-II Challenge", "Wing X" or "Inferno Squadron" under "Units Involved".

Upcoming Events:

I've got a few competitions planned, and will most likely do a squadron hang-out fairly soon so everyone can voice their opinion on any changes I'm making to the squadron.

Closing Comments

I very much look forward to working with you all to bring Inferno the glory it deserves. I'll be working on some Competitions for the squadron soon, and I'd like to hear from you all on what you think of the direction I'll be taking the squadron in.
