Beginning Commanders Log… Today was a good day, the final group of TIE Advanced fighters for Flight Two have been made available to our mechanics in the Hammers hangar bay and our new crew chief assured me that these are better than some of the others he has seen. We now have all twelve of our fighters assembled in the hangar and ready for the painting crew, once our new squadron emblem has been designed. High Admiral Plif signed off on my two new competitions for a new banner and a new squadron patch, I must remember to append details of these to my next report. Lieutenant Commander Kassal came back from the reserves yesterday as well, he and I will form the core of Gammas next generation. I will speak to our recruiting team on the Hammer about finding some more pilots to help me get Gamma fighting fit before the next fleet competitions begin.

Gamma Squadron flies again! 31st of March 2014. This was the date that Gamma squadron landed on the decks of the Hammer for their decommissioning ceremony as their members transferred to Kappa Squadron on the Warrior, now nearly ten years on Gamma is back for more. We are the youngest squadron and by far and away the smallest right now this will change as word spreads and recruitment efforts grow. We want to be in a position to follow in the footsteps of some of the other Hammer squadrons who had great Squadron Remobilization efforts. Thanks to timing our baptism of fire will be Raise the Flag in October, we have no time to waste! Apart from recruitment I have started two competitions to build our new squadron patch and squadron banner.
