Welcome all to this fortnights Hammer ship report!

It's been a fairly interesting last 14 days aboard the ISDII Hammer, for starters this weekend we concluded a series of voice calls that we've been holding with the TIE Corps Commander, HA Plif. The idea behind these two sessions was to let the members of the Hammer voice their opinions about things that they wanted heard by the clubs senior leadership and the initial thoughts are that it went okay. I'll be closing out any action items and reporting back to the ship regarding any remaining open points that need to be addressed.

It looks very much like the Hammer did rather well on the kill boards during May, with LCM Wolve Excelsior Berkanas incredible total leading the way on the SP board. Kudos to everyone who flew, it was fantastic to see so many Hammer pilots occuping the upper echelons of the boards last month! HA Plif posted a summary in the competition results channel, I've also posted them to the Hammer channel for anyone who missed them.

We've also kicked off a couple of competitions revolving around the Drunken Bastion, the Hammers onboard watering hole that was created in a competition last year. The first competition is open to the TIE Corps as a whole and is about creating a logo for the bar. The second competition is just for the Hammer and is a fiction competition that runs off the prompt that you can find below. Both competitions are running until the end of the month so good luck!

Trivia for the Hammered - Season Five
Trivia for the Hammered returns with Season Five.
Each week, 4 questions will be released via the TIE Corps timed competition system. For each question, the quickest pilot to answer correctly receives 3 points, second quickest with the correct answer gets 2 points and all the pilots with a correct answer get 1 point.
We tally up at the end of the week with the highest point total winning a IS-SR and the runner-up a IS-BR.
After 8 rounds we tally up for our winner who will receive a IS-GR, with the runner-up receiving a IS-SR, whilst third and fourth places receive a IS-BR.
Points earned on each question accrue and lead to IS-CRs being awarded for every multiple of 50 points.

The last round featured questions about the Quasar Fire class carriers, first featured in the novel "The Truce at Bakura".
This one was won by, with CPT TheBlackxRanger ecieving a IS-SR and CM Aval recieving a IS-BR

A Night in the Bastion
In 2021, the crew of the Hammer came up with a series of contenders for the Hammers onboard bar & recreation area, the winner being the Drunken Bastion submitted by TheBlackxRanger, read about it here: https://wiki.emperorshammer.org/Drunken_bastion.
During June 2022, we will be running a fiction competition based around the bar - you have the month to create and write a story based off the prompt below and submit it to me at phoenixberkana AT gmail DOT com.
Criteria:
- All fictions need to be at least 500 words
- They can be serious, funny, utterly crazy
- Judging will be done by the Hammer Commodore
Winner will receive an Iron Star with Silver Ribbon, the runner up will receive an Iron Star with Bronze Ribbon and third place an Iron Star with Bronze Ribbon. If I receive over 5 entries in total, we will extend a Iron Star with Bronze Ribbon to fourth place as well.

Prompt for the Night in the Bastion is a simple one: Plifs inspection of the Hammer has come to a end, he may or may not have left the ship yet, rumour has it the COM has left his credit card behind the bar, how did the evening go?

Winner will receive an Iron Star with Gold Ribbon, the runner up will receive an Iron Star with Silver Ribbon and third place an Iron Star with Bronze Ribbon. If I receive over 6 entries in total, we will extend a Iron Star with Bronze Ribbon to fourth place as well.
