SIMS Report # 8 (2022-04-24)

This report was submitted by COM-SIMS/VA Phoenix Berkana/ISDII Hammer

Phoenix was fuming as he sat at his desk in the Simulations Office.

The Hammer had been taken, although simply a wargame with no lasting damage to the vessel it was still a inglorious moment.

Well Silwar, lets see what revenge Genie decides to cook up he thought to himself

Turn 15 & 16 Update

Weekend turns are always interesting in this Vice Admirals house, especially with little kids so although I posted a brief overview of Turn 15 on Discord, this report will cover both Turns 15 AND 16.

Chief amongst the action was the completion of the Second Battle of Lao-Mon between the Hammer and Challenge. Firstly I am utterly thrilled that both teams hopefully enjoyed themselves, especially as both near enough maxed out the potential points they could earn. This does mean though that the larger fleet that the Challenge brought to the battle has played it's part and the Hammer strike force was effectively destroyed, although not without taking out a significant portion of the Challenge force.

On the Challenge side losses included around 30 squadrons of fighters (Advanced, Defenders and Missile Boats), alongside 2 Imperial Star Destroyers (ISD Dempsey & ISD Zosite). Similar numbers of Dreadnoughts, Strike Cruisers and Escort Carriers were also taken out by Hammer forces along with a number of smaller escort vessels.

On the Hammer side losses were made up of a Interdictor, over 14 Frigates of various classes and 4 Imperial Star Destroyers (Marenta's Storytelling, Silwar's RedHot Desire, Silwar's Blue Belles and the Hammer itself).

Whilst the Hammer and Challenge come to terms with the damage caused, the Warrior seemingly free from damage had a visitation from the Drunken Admiral. Rumour has it they had a good party but escaped unscathed!
