This is Lambda's March Report, encompassing the entire month of March.

The Chalquilla Cup II is nearing its end, well, kind of. It's two thirds in, but with Imperial Storm overlapping that may slow things down even further. I would urge the captains of all the teams to try and arrange two or even three games back-to-back.

Speaking of the Imperial Storm, IS4 has now officially started. We are already on turn 6. Every day counts as one turn and unlike previous years, battles will be done in real time. Meaning, the turns will keep rolling instead of pausing the game!

If you are unfamiliar with Imperial Storm, it is a war game that the Emperor's Hammer TIE Corps runs once a year as a way to keep our fleet in top shape and ofcourse to remind the entire fleet which ship is the best, aka the ISDII Hammer. Zuchinnis will be eaten, memes will be created, beetjuice shall be consumed and of course the chalquilla must flow! Oh and yes, we will also shoot down each and every one of you, Worrier and Challenged. The zuchinni-laced gauntlet has been thrown.

Every Friday, 19:00 EST (00:00 GMT), there is an EH battlefront get-together for our pilots who are enthusiastic about Battlefront II. And every Saturday, we have the COO's PvP Shootout typically in Squadrons. And for the lovers of single player, we got TCIB and the Hammer Tour of Duty. Pick your poison pilots! I have updated the competitions section, to include a short written summary and point everyone to the current EH competitions.

Fun fact of the Month: Xwing vs TIE allows you to jump into a wingman's cockpit by pressing the J key.

Phoenix and Genie were returning from Plif's office, heading towards the Lambda Quarters. Genie was carrying a huge book under his arm.

      Phoenix: What's that book?
      Genie: It's my meeting notes.
      Phoenix: Aaah, knodded Phoenix.
      Genie: Care to join me for a drink?
      Phoenix: Sure thing, a couple of drinks won't hurt.
    

As they got closer to Lambda's quarters, Genie spotted an Ithorian frantically running through the corridors, flailing his arms extended in the air, screaming out of his lungs. It was Wolve. Soon after, Solohan was spotted running after him.

        Phoenix: What's going on? Phoenix pondered while taking a step towards Genie.
        Genie: Wolve probably took some of Solohan's zuchinni again.
        Phoenix: Ah, ... I just remembered I have an appointment. We'll give that drink a reincheck.
        Genie: Are you sure?
        Phoenix: Yes, quite sure, said the Commodore. I'll see you for the briefing before you
        head out.
        Genie smiled, Roger that.
      

Genie walked into the Lambda bunker. Merlin was sitting on one of the lower beds, helmet firmly attached to his head, while playing his guitar.

        Where is everyone? Genie pondered
        Merlin: Wookie and Baron are on patrol. Everyone else bar Wolve and Solohan are at the bar.
        Genie: Baron is on patrol... again?
        Merlin: Yeah man, he insisted on taking Aisling's shift. He loves that, keeps hoping we'd run
        into some New Republic scum to shoot at.
        Genie: Ok, let's head to the bar then and I will update everyone there.

Competitions:

There are various monthly competitions held by several EH pilots. Phoenix's Hammer Tour of Duty and Beat the Buzzard Trivia, Solohan's Crossword, BlackRanger's Jigsaw, Marenta's Search Word, Legion's Chase the Rabbit and Wolve's Meme Competition. In addition, we have the TIE Corps in Battle (TCIB), one of the most prestigious squadron and ship based competition.

Be sure to check out all the running competitions. As Lambdas, to know the competitions you are eligible for, under "Units Involved" it must be listed as "Entire TC", "ISD-II Hammer", "Wing I" or "Lambda Squadron".

Notable Events:

• Genie's "Make a Wish" Stream: Genie regularly streaming, currently Age of Empires IV and maybe will stream Battle-Making in TF and XWA
• One Thicc Wookiee: Wookiee oftens throws in a bit of Squadrons action!
• MAJ Taygetta Star Wars and Star Conflict Streaming: Several hours spread over the week.
• Alejandro's Youtube Corner: A place where LC Alejandro regularly uploads videos of his activities with the modded XWA.
• LCM Legion's Streaming: Regular weekly streaming. I joined in a couple of times, highly entertaining!
