LAMBDA SQUADRON NEWS
This is Lambda's February Report, encompassing the entire February.
Congratulations to Wolve Excelsior Berkana for making it to the rank of Lieutenant Commander and Wookiee for attaining the rank of Captain! Furthermore, congratulations to Wookiee for achieving his 15th Echelon Wings and Solohan for receiving the Order of the Vanguard.
The Chalquilla Cup II is almost half way through, and only one thing is clear. Everyone can win against anyone. I hope everyone is enjoying it. You may have noticed that we have gathered and processed a ton of statistics for our statistician buffs. Three teams, The Kansas City Cheeks, the Jolly Rhogers and the Infernders are narrowly leading the pack with 5 points a piece. Meanwhile, the Funky Chickens and Wookiee Mistakes, are looking quite ominous. It's still early days and everything to play for. Let the Chalquilla flow!
Every Friday, 19:00 EST (00:00 GMT), there is an EH battlefront get-together for our pilots who are enthusiastic about Battlefront II. And every Saturday, we have the COO's PvP Shootout typically in Squadrons. And for the lovers of single player, we got TCIB and the Hammer Tour of Duty. Pick your poison pilots! I have updated the competitions section, to include a short written summary and point everyone to the current EH competitions.
Fun fact of the Month: In TIE Fighter, when attempting a Battle High Score, you get penalyzed for using lasers. However, you may still use your ions.

The search for the missing pilots
COL Genie was standing in front of Plif's desk. VA Phoenix was sitting in a comfortable chair behind him and his right. HA Plif had his back turned to both, hands behind his back. He turned around to face them and crossed his arms.
Plif: You say you have received intel pointing to the whereabouts of several of our missing EH pilots... Genie: Yes sir, we are confident in the intergrity of this information. Phoenix: I can vouch for this myself Admiral. Plif raised his eyebrow. I mean High Admiral, Phoenix corrected himself. Plif took a deep breath. What do you need to make this happen? Genie: Lambda Squadron's Shuttles, two X-Wings from our infiltration wing and half-a-dozen New Republic codes. Plif: Phoenix, I'll inform General Stryker and he will give you two of his pilots. Phoenix: Erm, sir, Stryker is no longer the CMDR of Firebird. He transferred to the reserves 2 days ago. Plif: Yeah, but he's back on active duty again. Phoenix and Genie looked at each other. Plif: Is that all? Dismissed gentlemen.

COMPETITIONS AND EVENTS
Competitions:
There are various monthly competitions held by several EH pilots. Phoenix's Hammer Tour of Duty and Beat the Buzzard Trivia, Solohan's Crossword, BlackRanger's Jigsaw, Marenta's Search Word, Legion's Chase the Rabbit and Wolve's Meme Competition. In addition, we have the TIE Corps in Battle (TCIB), one of the most prestigious squadron and ship based competition.
Be sure to check out all the running competitions. As Lambdas, to know the competitions you are eligible for, under "Units Involved" it must be listed as "Entire TC", "ISD-II Hammer", "Wing I" or "Lambda Squadron".
Notable Events:
- Genie's "Make a Wish" Stream: Genie regularly streaming, currently Age of Empires IV and maybe will stream Battle-Making in TF and XWA
- One Thicc Wookiee: Wookiee oftens throws in a bit of Squadrons action!
- MAJ Taygetta Star Wars and Star Conflict Streaming: Several hours spread over the week.
- Alejandro's Youtube Corner: A place where LC Alejandro regularly uploads videos of his activities with the modded XWA.
- LCM Legion's Streaming: Regular weekly streaming. I joined in a couple of times, highly entertaining!
