EAGLE SQUADRON NEWS
Greetings fellow Eagles, pilots of the Challenge, and our colleagues across the Hammer and the Warrior.
After some forced R&R, Squadron Commander Graf D'Jinn returns with renewed vigour and enthusiasm for the year ahead. Despite the dizzying heights of 29ABY, we've now got a solid baseline for what constitutes as our squadron's minimum for achievement. It's a jam-packed this year already, with whisperings of Imperial Storm 4 on the horizon already, as well as Squadron Remobilisation and other fleet-wide comps just around the corner.
Chalquilla Cup 2 has also been announced, and with sign-ups closing only a few days from now, Eagle sits comfortable in fielding at least one, very strong team in the 3PO-rules 3v3 Fleet Battles for SWS. Ideally, it would be grand to see two teams from us, but it remains to be seen if it is a viable option, as I know from first-hand experience that CC1 was difficult in terms of scheduling. Regardless, the quality of pilots at our disposal means which will be able to put up a very good fight. Keep an eye out for ad-hoc scrim/training sessions for 3v3s
I am pleased that our WSRs will be rolled into a monthly compendium, with the first for this year scheduled for an early-February release. Reminder to you all that any fiction, non-fiction, tactics, art, etc should be emailed to the CHALCOM sooner rather than later, and I do hope that you all submit something, however small.
Massive congratulations to our very own Lt jospence, who smashed 'Legion's Challenging Time Trials' competition, killing the Captain three times in just under 1min 25secs. I'm very proud of an exceptional showing from Eagle, taking out the top three spots! Onto season 2, where it has been opened up to the fleet.
