TIE Corps Eagle Squadron WSR

EAGLE SQUADRON WSR #36 (12-Sep-29 ABY)

REPORTING COMMANDER: Captain Graf D'Jinn, Squadron Commander TO: Eagle Squadron, Vice Admiral Silwar Naiilo, ISD Challenge DATE SUBMITTED: 12th September 29 ABY

EAGLE SQUADRON NEWS

After the excitement of IS3, the spamming wars of Star Conflict, the inevitable Challenge celebrations and the consequent Chalquilla hangovers, the flight decks of the ISDs are starting to get busy again. Pilots across all Wings have the horizon line firmly in their sights - RtF beckons - and squadrons well know the importance of maintaining that muscle memory that is too often the difference between kill or be killed.

It was great to have some quality intra-squadron SWS matches this week. We even managed to extend that across the Challenge and link up with members from Thunder and Inferno. I am looking forward to seeing even greater representation across the Eagle roster.

COMPETITIONS AND EVENTS

Current Eagle Squadron Competitions:

Challenge Competitions:

  • Challenge's Poetic Proficiency : Every round, a general prompt will be given about something on the Challenge, her pilots, her crew, her history, or sometimes more Star Wars in general along with a poem type. You then write your heart and soul, or liver and Chalquilla, into a poem of the given type which will then be reviewed by your fellow competitors and a winner elected by vote.
  • Life in the Fleet: Cross training: Prompt: As resources get stretched thin we need our pilots to perform more than their flight duties. Challenge Order 0539 has been enacted. Pilots will be reassigned to serve on auxiliary ships within the fleet to train new skills that will be needed in case reinforcements do not come in time.

TIE Corps Competitions:

  • Trivia Grand Tour: Season Seven: Entering Week Two
  • Crossword Puzzle, be sure to email a screenshot of your answers to Solohan (solohan50@gmail.com).
  • Starship Designers: This competition is about designing your very own starship. Can be as detailed as you wish to be. Design must include exterior design (blueprint style or actual artwork) and interior design of any rooms of your choice. The design can be of any kind of ship, fighter, cruiser, etc.

Be sure to check out all the running competitions. As Eagles, to know the competitions you are eligible for, under 'Units Involved' it must be listed as 'Entire TC', 'ISD-II Challenge', 'Wing I' or 'Eagle Squadron'.

CLOSING COMMENTS

The MSEs have been rubber-stamped; medal requests have been submitted. Some great competitions have recently been announced and I hope you all jump into a couple of them.

My big thank you for this week is to CM LegionX, who showed me that replacing the printed circuit boards for a GONK robot isn't actually that bad, and that a capacitor change is easier than shifting shields forward in a T-65.

I remain, as always, your humble servant,

GDJ
