TIE Corps Training Update
With the First Recon Division gearing up to leave the Aurora Sector, one of the things we just can't take with us is a platform. The Modified Platform Daedalus has been home to our trainees for many years now but it won't be coming with us on our mission so we needed to make new arrangements for our initial cadet training.

Our trainees will now go through their on-boarding process on the SSD Avenger, which is also the new home of the Training Office and the Imperial University. With the IU having taken on the role that the Imperial Weapons and Tactics School served previously, we've decided to re-purpose IWATS and it's now the name of the program that our trainees attend aboard the Avenger.

To show the new assignment in ID lines, trainee ID lines now look like this:

TRN/CT Rin Jaeger/IWATS/SSD Avenger

In emails about new Sub-Lieutenants going forward, I'll be referring to them having completed their IWATS training as opposed to completing their training aboard the M/PLT Daedalus. As a reminder, the IU course that pilots take that introduces them to all the ranks in the TIE Corps, positions, the command structure, etc., is TIE Corps Core, not IWATS.

Some of the database updates for these changes have been completed already, others are still pending.

SL Rin Jaeger Joins Epsilon
Having being among one of the first to complete their recruit training at IWATS on board the SSD Avenger, it's my pleasure to welcome SL Rin Jaeger to Epsilon Squadron 3-3! Welcome to the Epsies Rin and congrats on the promotion to Sub-Lieutenant and then rapidly to full Lieutenant!

The position for Flight Leader for Flight III is currently vacant. For anyone unfamiliar with the role please take a look at the TIE Corps Manual which will detail the requirements and expectations for the role.

Every week before Saturday, 06:00 UTC, Epsilon pilots submit their SC PvP/PvE/CoOp screen with the highest EFF points to SmTaUcM@Yahoo.co.uk.
In each category (PvP/PvE/COOP) the best scorer will earn 4 points, second will earn 3 points, third 2 points and every further participant 1 point. These points will be summed up.

The pilot with most points at the end of the week will earn an IS-BW. The pilot with most points at the end of the month will earn an IS-SW, second an IS-BW. The pilot with most points at the end of the year will earn an IS-SW, second an IS-BW.

For each submitted screen (max 1 per category per week) the pilot earns 1 activity point.
Every 10 activity points the pilot earns an IS-BW. When reaching 50 activity points the pilot earns an IS-SW instead and the activity points are set to 0 again.

CLOSING REMARKS
A pretty quiet week from myself and from the squadron. Apologies on that front from myself, it was my week to be in the office at work and it turned out to be a pretty busy one which required most of my time.
It's fantastic to see some fresh blood in the squadron with Lt Rin Jaeger and with all the activity it has brought.
Hopefully this coming week will see your normal CMDR service fully resume and a new Epsilon squadron competition!
