RHO WEEKLY SQUADRON REPORT #15
REPORTING OFFICER: Colonel Hav Antiel, Squadron Commander |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
SQUADRON COMMANDER'S CORNER
Welcome to this week's report, pilots. The big news this week is that SL Lo Mar was promoted to Lieutenant. LT Lo Mar had probably the most productive and impressive stint I've ever seen from a Sub-Lieutenant, flying 29 SP missions and earning 2 high scores before his promotion request was approved. Heck, he very nearly earned his Commendation of Bravery as an SL. Impressive stuff, Lieutenant. Keep it up! A few weeks ago, Rho's own LT Griggs D'Arc embarked on a project to compile various sources on Basic Fighter Maneuvers with the goal of creating a manual that would benefit the pilots of the TIE Corps. That manual is now complete and ready for publication, and even though it has been shared on Discord, I'm anxious to post the link here to share it with a wider audience once it's published. Watch this space for updates and check it out on Discord if you can. Please check Discord and Telegram for the announcement about this week's MP event for Rho pilots. |

CLOSING COMMENTS | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Looking at Rho Squadron's achievements to date, I'm blown away. We're making a name for ourselves by showing up in big numbers in TIE Corps in Battle, the Escort Flights, trivia, and fiction. Our comms are strong, and I feel like we've found a community together on 'Skid Rho.' Between Flight III flying like crazy and our newest pilot, LT Lo Mar, nabbing two high scores in his first week in the TIE Corps, I think the rest of the TC is starting to notice us. However, the biggest thing I took away from this week was the conversation we had on Telegram based on a big question Frenchie6 shared. I won't go into details here—this is Rho business—but I'm proud of the way we shared real opinions and forged common bonds. Moments like that make me proud to be your Commander. Get out there and show 'em who the (not-so) bad guys are. COL Hav Antiel |
