Welcome to this week's report, pilots. The big news this week is that our own CPT Drake Starfire has been selected to lead a reactivated squadron aboard the ISD Challenge. Drake selected Inferno Squadron to reactivate, and he chose TIE Interceptors and a flight of TIE Reapers as the squadron's complement. It's great to see one of Rho's own taking on a leadership role in the TIE Corps. Congrats, Drake! Drake leaving for the Challenge left Rho's Flight III without a Flight Leader. I put out a call to Rho's pilots and received strong applications from multiple pilots. It made for a tough choice for your humble CMDR, but it makes me proud to know that Rho has such dedicated and willing pilots. I selected LT acetiepilot to lead Flight III based on his high levels of flight activity, strong comms, and previous leadership experience. Congrats, LT acetiepilot! In competition news, I launched a new month-long trivia comp based on the history of the TIE Corps. Answers can be found in our wiki, the Encyclopædia Imperia, and also in the EH Newsletters. New questions will be emailed every week. We also need to finalize our drink for Drake's To Each Their Own, a Liquid Territory War comp. I would like to try to schedule a weekly MP session for Rho pilots. I'm not sure what would be the best way to find out times that work for most of us across our different time zones and schedules, but look for an email or survey from me this week. |

Rho had a strong showing in TIE Corps in Battle in June. I'd like to see continued participation in July, and I urge every Rho pilot to tackle those TF, XvT, and XWA missions. I'll submit efforts this month, too. Special thanks to LCM Jarion Renalds for submitting a combined report for Flights II and III this week in the absence of a FL for Flight III.
