| SQUADRON COMMANDER'S CORNER |

Welcome to this week's report, pilots. Lots of big news this week, but the most exciting is that Rho Squadron now has 12 pilots. We're a full squad, pilots! We reactivated Rho Squadron a little over two months ago, and for a few weeks it was just four of us trying to make a name for the squad. Thanks to our three newest pilots, SL Neko, LT Kitsune, and SL Iam Thinking, we're now a full complement of TIE Interceptors. To date, I have spent 549 days in command of squadrons in the Emperor's Hammer TIE Corps: first Epsilon, then Sin, and now Rho. And in 549 days, this is the first time I have ever had a full squadron to command. These are exciting days, pilots. These are days you'll remember. The other great big exciting news this week was the reveal of Star Wars: Squadrons gameplay footage. I know we have all been cautiously optimistic (and some of us downright pessimistic), but I am pleasantly surprised with what I saw. It won't be the single-player-heavy kind of game that I loved when I played TIE Fighter as a kid, but it should be a great platform for the TIE Corps. To be honest, I'm so geeked about the game that I'm even considering getting a VR setup. I'm going to start saving up. I feel pretty pleased that Rho pilots will be able to jump straight into the game's TIE Interceptors and feel right at home. I wonder how those other shielded, air-conditioned, hyperdrive-equipped squadrons will fare. |

Phew! These reports take me a lot longer to compile now that we have 12 pilots, not just 4. That's a good problem to have. I've been enjoying your responses in the Wrong Answers Only comp.
