INTRO

Good day pilots. Yet another quiet week.I've been exploring the EaW gameplay when having all the needed fleets at one's disposal. Even so, the game proves challenging on hardest AI plus the custom 'cruel AI' of the Thrawn's Revenge mod. You get random huge enemy fleets everywhere and they're consistently made of cannon fodder amd heavy hitters - a typical strategy I've seen on MMO strategy games and it is quite effective on EaW. I've yet to find that special ship the Empire could rely on. On this version, a System Patrol Craft swarm can systematically (no pun intended) rip apart the enemy warships' hardpoints one by one. If you combine this with a coule huge targets for the enemy AI to get distracted on (to avoid losing your IPVs) then you're set for victories against superior odds.

As for XWA, I've noticed the guys at the XWAUP project are still reworking the models. Each time they upgrade their own designs and improve them. Their work with the hooks , enabling a few extra feautres on XWA is awesome.

If like, yours truly, you happen to be an oldschooler fan of Doom then you should be happy to know Doom Eternal will be released on march.

As for us, I've seen Gustan and Doyon have been the 'flyers' here with the rest of us slacking. We gotta get into te cockpit guys, I know we're too old but you know the deal, we are TIE pilots.
