SIN SQUADRON  REPORT N°58 - 17/NOV/2019

SIN CMDR: GN Earnim Branet
REPORT DATE: 17 Nov 2019
COMMENTARIES

Greetings.

Our squad has received a new pilot, SL Genie, to whom we all give the welcome, and wish him the best of stays at the Tie Corps. Have fun, pilot, and try to be the most active possible!
With their arrival, our citations have had a modification, now going down to 09. I invite all pilots of Sin to complete missions of the Battle Center, to begin tracing our citations.
We cannot fail to highlight the extraordinary activity shown by LCM Coremy Jertese, who continues completing courses, in addition to Battle Center battles and also obtaining LoC and LoS medals. It is an excellent example for us. Congratulations, LCM Coremy Jertese!.
It has been a good week for Sin, as MAJ Rando, LT Troy and GN Branet also won medals, demonstrating that our squad continues to perform at the Tie Corps. Good job, Pilots!

About thirteen years before the destruction of the Hosnian system, the First Order began channeling billions of credits into the hitherto minor Nikto crime lord Rinnrivin Di

SQUADRON AND EH NEWS

- Trivia Grand Tour: Week Fifteen ends in few hours, head over to http://tc.emperorshammer.org/timetest.php?testid=315855 if you haven’t played yet..
- Our TCCOM has presented 02 new competitions. The first is TIE Corps in Battle 2019. It is like TIE Corps on Patrol, but using full battles only once per month. There are also awards for ship and squadron participation (high scores not required), so get out there and fly! The second is TIE Corps Spammers 2019. This is a different type of competition for flying SP free missions. In this one the points don’t matter, but how fast you complete it does.
- Our AD Plif has extended an invitation to the entire TC to participate in a Multiplayer event.
The day of the event will be on Thursday of each week. Time: 5:30pm Pacific, 6:30pm Mountain, 7:30pm Central, 8:30pm Eastern. Duration: Up to the players; could be an hour, could be a few hours. Where to meet: Discord's Hangar chat. We hope that most of you can participate. They can make some modifications in the schedules so that they take contact with the Admirals if you are interested in participating.
- New Combat Event.
This event covers all Battles between the TIE Corps and the Rebel Squadrons (RS) once a week. Submit all battles against the RS, no matter which platform, to this Combat Event and to the COO FA Silvius. The deadline for participation in a week is always Monday at 8pm GMT. Every submission after that will count for the next week.
Depending on attendance per platform, a DFC will be handed out to the winner. COO guidelines required, which apply in full force (at least 3 different opponents, EH or not, defeated and +3 win/lose ratio, plus the need of having a minimum of 3 EH players playing on that game platform). A IS-SW will be handed out if DFC requirements not met, (but still at least 3 pilots), IS-BW to 2nd place. There will be also a monthly part for this Combat Event. The pilot with the most wins will get an IS-GW, 2nd an IS-SW and 3rd an IS-BW. Tiebreaker are the numbers of kills. The pilot with the most wins will get an IS-GW, 2nd an IS-SW and 3rd an IS-BW. Tiebreaker are the numbers of kills.

COMPETITIONS

I will summarize competitions that apply to Sin in this section, but you should always check the Competitions Center and Combat Center for full details on all competitions.

  • Project 659 V.2.0.-
Each month, fly the SP battles indicated in the Sin Weekly Squadron Report and earn bonus points for high scores and fastest submissions.
  • TIE Corps Spammers 2019
The objective of this competition is to complete the assigned free missions as fast as possible! Cheating is encouraged (In game cheats only)! To participate, simply fly the assigned mission and take a screenshot of the debrief screen that shows how long it took you to complete the mission. Submit the BSF to the database, and forward the confirmation email to the TCCOM along with your screenshot of the time it took.

  • TIE Corps in Battle 2019
Every month, there will be a full battle from each of the major SP platforms (TIE, XvT, XWA) assigned. Pilots will fly each battle that they choose and BSF the battles to the TC database and forward the BSF email to Pete Mitchell. If the pilot has earned a high score, BSF it and also send the pilot file to Pete Mitchell in case the BSF is not approved in time. Please also forward the BSF confirmation to Pete Mitchell as well.

  • TIE Corps on Recon 2019
Submit a screenshot each week from one of Star Conflict's multiplayer game modes (Domination, Beacon Hunt, PvE, Team Battle, and Combat Recon). Iron Stars are awarded weekly and monthly based on unique criteria for each game mode.

  • TIE Corps vs AI 2019
Submit a screenshot each week from Star Conflict's Player vs. AI modes. Iron Stars are awarded weekly and monthly based on unique criteria for each game mode.

PROJECT 659 V.2.0.-
Project 659 V.2.0.- The pilots of Sin have all the month of September to complete these battles for the platforms TIE Fighter, X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter, and X-Wing Alliance.

Every battle BSF earns you one point; the first pilot to submit the BSF for each assigned battle earns a bonus point, and additional bonus points are awarded for ≥80% of the existing high score and a further bonus point if you beat the high score. The points will be tracked and an IS-BW medal awarded for every 5 points and an IS-SW medal for every 20 points.

CLOSING COMMENTS

Because of its importance, I reproduce here the words of our AD Plif:
All,
As time passes, it’s only natural that obstacles arise and priorities change leading to the need for those have have taken up leadership roles here in the Corps to take a step back and let someone else take the reins. Those who have served a Tour of Duty in a leadership role have our gratitude and there’s no hard feelings over asking to be transferred to another position or to the Reserves.
What we need to make sure we have are volunteers to step up into those roles so that the job continues to get done. Normally we don’t have to look too far, but it’s been a while since we’ve actively sought out the next generation of TC leaders.
So here’s my request: If you’re interested in becoming a CMDR, COM, or taking on any other leadership position here in the Corps, send a note to the TCCOM, SOO, and COO (don’t reply to the mailing list, please!). Let’s chat about the expectations for the role and whether it’d be a good fit for you. Some folks get in their heads about whether they’d be good enough for a position or assume that someone else more suited to the role will apply, but I want to be clear that there’s always going to be a need for a replacement somewhere down the line and we’d like to start having things already in order.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Fleet Admiral Plif
