BGII Family,

August was a great month, featuring promotions, parties, and preparations. Congratulations to the new Major Jayden Halcorr (what a way to return to active duty!) and Lieutenant Tiberius Filth (welcome to the Battlegroup!). Likewise, a round of applause for Davy Jonez and Gabba Gabagool for their promotions to Lieutenant Colonel.

Last Wednesday's BG2COM Office Hours was a hit, and a great preview to what Raise the Flag could look like for Battlegroup II. Read more about how you can contribute to the defense of our title in the next section below - all pilots are needed!

As we launch into this hectic month, remember to hydrate, eat, and have fun as we venture to prove to the Corps that BGII remains supreme.

Raise the Flag has begun! This month-long competition from September 1st to 30th is the chance for each pilot, squadron, and Battlegroup to prove to the Corps that they are the best of the best.

Battlegroup II is defending the Flagship title, and your help is needed! If we are to rise to the top, it will take every pilot from every squadron giving their best.

The ruleset for the competition is here, and the leaderboard is here. Keep your eyes peeled for messages in the #battlegroup-announcements and #rtf-impstorm-remob channels about easy IU courses to take, quick TIE missions, art and fiction prompts and advice, and more.
