Spear Monthly Report #4

Maj. Mack Udar paced back and forth in his office aboard the ISDII Relentless, anxious of the upcoming Raise the Flag competition. The Battlegroup to which he called home had maintained the Flag since before he joined the Corps and now it is him leading the Squadron into this foray. Even though Spear would not be alone in this endeavor, the reigning champs of Rho Squadron aboard the ISDII Warrior along with Sin, Theta and Kappa Squadrons would also be bringing much to the table. However, since Mack took the Squadron Commander position, he had been building his team of pilots that he was proud of and that thought alone eased the anxiety he was having. "We've got this" he said out loud, "plus everyone has been practicing and training this month."

The Major sat down at his desk, cracked his knuckles and began typing up his report for his superior.

To the office of the BGCOM AD Alexandre Morgan. It gives me great pleasure to present this report to you of Spear Squadron for the month of August.

Given that this report is coming in earlier than normal there are only a small handful of competitions that I can completely report on, as some are still pending to resolve for the end of the month. With that said, I can say that the Squadron has participated in Abednedo Education, Squadrons Rodeo, Round Three of TIE Corps Trivia, Cross Platform Crusade, Spear's Monthly Puzzle, and Asteroid Trouble.

Among these competitions, LCM Et'sen Kryze earned 1st place in Cross Platform Crusade, with myself taking 4th place. LC Death earned a joint 1st place in Asteroid Trouble and LT digitalviking taking 2nd.

I am looking forward to the results of the other competitions and am sure of more placements for my team.

I know that with RtF upcoming, I have not submitted any new competitions for the Squadron or the Fleet. However, our very own LCM Et'sen will be submitting one that is awaiting approval by the Foward Admiral. Aside from that, just our normal camaraderie building competitions will be going on for next month as follows:

Spear's Monthly Puzzle - Exclusive to the pilots of Spear Squadron. A light competition to help keep the mind sharp.

Spear's Monthly Game Night - This TC WIDE comp is to help boost camaraderie amongst the Fleet, hosted by any member of Spear Squadron, all squadrons are encouraged to participate and an easy way to earn Legions of Combat or Skirmish and IARs. Details can be found in the Competition Center.

Since the last report, we have had a number of changes in our lineup. LT digitalviking returned from the Reserves to join us and SL Lionel Terin graduated from IWATS. LT Hash as gone AWOL, having taken a shuttle from the ISDII Relentless. Probe droids have been dispatched to locate him, so justice will be dispensed.

Merit Medals for the team are still pending the approval of the Monthly Squadron Evaluation. However, I can say that I am pleased with the efforts of my pilots and can note who will be receiving Merit for the month.

I am looking forward to the month ahead and even more excited to see what it is that my team, my Squadron, my Brothers can and will do for Raise the Flag.

Collectively, as a precursor to what can be achieved for RtF, as a Squadron we have completed 160 Legions of Skirmish and 22 Legions of Combat. The numbers we will put up terrify and excite me. Spear Squadron is definitely a contender this year without a doubt.
