• First, obviously, is the fact that Lambda was closed down, and merged into Delta. I want to welcome everyone under the new Delta banner. I want to open up the possibility of changing our mission and other details to make Delta our own, but I am probably going to leave that until October. Mainly because...
• Upcoming early next week is Raise the Flag 2026. If you've ever participated before, you'll know the deal. In case you don't know, it's a month-long competition where you get points for doing almost every TC activity. There's points from all supported platforms, taking Imperial University courses, making memes, as well as additional fiction and graphics competitions. If you want to participate and don't know how, I'll be happy to help.
• As part of that, there's a temporary change to MP submissions. If you have an MP match result you submit between tomorrow (August 29) and August 31 get denied, email the COO the denied submission and resubmit after RtF ends.
• There's some buzz about the new Star Wars games, Zero Company and the upcoming Galactic Racer. It remains to be seen if they'll be adopted as official games, but, hey, Star Wars!
• Speaking of supported games, September is the last full month that one of our supported platforms, Star Conflict, will be available, since the servers are planned to shut down on October 10.
• Speaking of speaking of supported games, remember that not only can you play the custom missions in our Battle Center, but you can play and submit the original campaigns for TIE Fighter, XvT - Balance of Power, X-Wing Alliance, and X-Wing, as well as non-EH mods TIE Fighter Total Conversion, Embers of the Empire, and XWVM.
• A few squadron medal shout-outs. First, congratulations to MAJ KEBLAOMEGA on his Bronze Star for his excellent activity. For the anniversaries, congratulations to LT James379 on his OV-8E! Welcome to your eighth year in the TIE Corps! And, although it was last month, I feel I would be remiss if I didn't acknowledge CM Varik Kassal gaining his OV-15E at the end of last month! Finally, congratulations to MAJ DemWookieeCheeks on their new CoL!

COMMANDER'S CORNER

It feels very weird to be writing one of these again. I jumped back into the EH a few months ago, after almost a decade in the reserves. At the time, I did not expect I'd be commanding a squadron before the year was out. However, when I heard that it was Lambda that was going inactive, I knew I had to. Lambda was my first squadron, 28 years ago. It holds a soft spot in my heart, and I don't want to see its legacy go away completely. I know that the squads were merged into Delta, not Lambda, but I feel that the spirit of both squads will be stronger together than they were apart.

I'm going to keep saying this, because it's true: I am here to make the TIE Corps fun for you. I am here to serve you, the pilots. I know the TC and the EH are a lot different nowadays than they used to be, but there's a reason we're all a part of this organization: Because we love blasting Rebel Scum. Whatever I can do to make that happen, I will. If you're content just being a part of the organization, and participating when you feel like it, that's fine too. Just let me know so I don't keep bugging you.
