Introduction

Squadron (Re)Mobilization 8 is in full swing! For the next month, we'll look to lick our wounds from Imperial Storm via the completion of different challenge tiers across a spectrum of activities! Let's begin!

TIE Corps News and Competitions

Squadron (Re)Mobilization 8

Our next fleet-wide competition, ReMob 8 has begun! ReMob challenges each squadron to complete as many of the following goals as possible within a month's time, with each goal having four tier levels. Let's break it down and take a look at each of them!

Single Player
- Complete Battles [Tier 1: 40 points worth; Tier 2: 80 points worth; Tier 3: 120 points worth; Tier: 160 points worth]
- Complete Battles with 25% HS (or better) [Tier 1: 40 points worth; Tier 2: 80 points worth; Tier 3: 120 points worth; Tier: 160 points worth]
- Complete Free missions [Tier 1: 40 points worth; Tier 2: 80 points worth; Tier 3: 120 points worth; Tier 4: 160 points worth]
- Complete Free missions with 25% HS (or better) [Tier 1: 40 points worth; Tier 2: 80 points worth; Tier 3: 120 points worth; Tier 4: 160 points worth]
Multiplayer
- Win MP matches with where at least one of your squadron's pilots score 15 or more player kills (match can only count once even if multiple pilots hit criteria) [Tier 1: 3 matches; Tier 2: 6 matches; Tier 3: 9 matches; Tier 4: 12 matches]
- Win PvP matches with another member of your squadron on the opposing team [Tier 1: 55 points; Tier 2: 110 points; Tier 3: 165 points; Tier 4: 220 points]
- Win PvP matches with another member of your squadron on your team [Tier 1: 75 points; Tier 2: 150 points; Tier 3: 225 points; Tier 4: 300 points]
- Win PvE matches with another member of your squadron on your team [Tier 1: 190 points; Tier 2: 375 points; Tier 3: 560 points; Tier 4: 750 points]
Writing and Academics
- Write fiction [Tier 1: 1500; Tier 2: 3000; Tier 3: 4500; Tier 4: 6000]
- Create and/or update 12 EH Wiki pages (with at least 200+ new words on each page) [Tier 1: 3; Tier 2: 6; Tier 3: 9; Tier 4: 12]
- Complete 12 Imperial University courses [Tier 1: 3; Tier 2: 6; Tier 3: 9; Tier 4: 12]
- Create a Script for a 4 Mission Battle [See this example script and the competition listing for tier information].
  - NOTE: The requirements for this challenge has been simplified from previous years. Please take a look!
- Create 100 points of memes (with each meme scored from 1 to 5 points) [Tier 1: 25 points; Tier 2: 50 points; Tier 3: 75 points; Tier 4: 100 points]

Remember: points aren't the same as matches or missions. Each supported platform counts for a different amount of points. See the competition listing for more details on how many points a mission/match are worth for each platform.

Additionally, keep in mind that the exact points your squadron needs to earn varies based on your squadron size - the above numbers represent what's required for a full 12-person squadron. Your squadron commander will be able to give you an idea of what the goals should be for your squadron size.

This is very much a squadron-oriented competition - what goals you want to shoot for, how many tiers you try to hit, etc. - that's entirely up to you and your squadron. The important thing is that you coordinate with your squadron commander, especially on the items that aren't captured by the system (like EH Wiki page updates) or need some coordination (like the 4 mission battle script)

ORAs will be awarded to each squadron member that participates when they complete 4 tiers, 8 tiers, 16 tiers, and 32 tiers. At 40 tiers completed, a Meritorious Unit Award will be awarded to each participating member of the squadron. Titles will be awarded to the first three squadrons to complete all 52 tiers, as well as any squadron that completes 36 tiers (75%) and 24 tiers (50%) of all available tiers.

Fiction, wiki updates, and battle plans should be sent to FA Phoenix Berkana for acknowledgement. Memes should be sent to HA Plif for grading. If you need help gaining access to the EH Wiki, please reach out to FA Jaxx Nassin. All other activity can be submitted as normal.

Competition Results: Battlegroup III Victorious in TIE Corps in Battle Season 9!

It's easy to lose track with ReMob now upon us, but I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge this Battlegroup and our victory in TIE Corps in Battle Season 9!

Thanks to your efforts, Battlegroup III was able to secure the win in this competition, netting all participating pilots a Meritorious Unit Award! I'm particularly happy with this one, as BG3 had more participating pilots than the rest of the fleet combined! There's no better way to win in my book than seeing many pilots work together to achieve that victory! Congrats to you all!

Special shout-out to Typhoon Squadron, which earned the third top squadron spot and another MUA as well! Typhoon had more participation in this comp than any other squad in the fleet, making this another well-deserved award for them!

New X-Wing Alliance Mod/Campaign Announcement: Embers of the Empire

A new mod for X-Wing Alliance has hit the scene, and the Emperor's Hammer is proud to announce our official support!

Embers of the Empire is an X-Wing Alliance modification (based on X-Wing Alliance Upgrade 2020) that introduces a brand new, original Imperial campaign set during the Star Wars Legends continuity that picks up after Vision of the Future by Timothy Zahn.

This campaign features 73 missions across 14 battles, each officially supported in our Battle Compendium for pilot file submission!

Like all other campaigns (CMP) in the Battle Compendium, you can play using a single pilot file, or, if you want to play specific battles, you can download a pilot file from the appropriate battle entry on the Battle Compendium

This is a very unique creation and I highly recommend giving this one a go! And if you're looking to complete some battles to earn ReMob SP battle tiers for your squadron, this campaign absolutely qualifies!

Competition Announcement: Fly Straight Down the Middle - 2026

Our own COL Jagged Fell III is once again running a "Fly Straight Down the Middle" SP competition over the next four months (May through August), where the goal is to be the most average pilot in the TIE Corps!

How does it work? It's simple! Every week, a new free mission will be assigned. Pilots are encouraged to try to be "average" - not the worse, not the best, just straight down the middle, as the competition says! Each week, the pilot with the score closest to the average of every participant will win for that week! Simple!

As this is a season-long competition, there will be monthly and season awards as well. Scores will be averaged monthly, with the pilot closest to the monthly average winning the monthly award. At the end of the season, all scores for the entire competition will be averaged, and the most average pilot will be awarded the season award, including the coveted title of "Most Average TIE Corps Pilot"!

Free missions will rotate between TIE, XvT, XWA, and wild (any of the three + TFTC) every four weeks. IS-BW and IS-CW will be awarded weekly for the top two most average pilots respectively for that week. IS-SW, IS-BW, and IS-CW will be awarded monthly to the top three most average pilots respectively that flew every mission for a given month. IS-PW, IS-GW, IS-SW, IS-BW, and IS-CW will go to the top five most average pilots respectively that flew at least 15 of 17 missions. ORAs awarded monthly to every pilot that flew each mission that month. 2 ORAs awarded at end of season to every pilot that flew at least 15 of the assigned missions.

We are into the second month now! Round #5 is live and is TIE-FREE #149: Patrol of Somewhere!
