COMMANDER’S QUARTERS

The time for rest was done, now it was time for Colonel Jagged Fell to led his pilots in their quest of repairing from their last assault on the First Order and to prepare for the next deployment to protect the Emperor's Hammer from those who would destroy it.

SQUADRON NEWS

Well done! In no small part thanks to your efforts, Battlegroup III took first place in TIE Corps in Battle. As a squadron we held on to our 3rd place finish, and were quite close to even grabbing 2nd, so good job to all who participated.

Additionally, congratulations again to Commander Reece Torenn, Major JKast, and Captain GamerRat on their promotions this month.

Also, let us celebrate again our own General Mark Schueler reaching the incredible milestone of 26 years in the Emperor's Hammer!

This month we have Squadron ReMobilization. As we have discussed in the squadron chat this is a chance for us to set our own goals for how much we are going to do and we will need everyone's help if we are going to reach the higher tier goals too. Please speak up in the chat if you think you can help and we will gladly direct you to where we need the most help. Areas of concern for me are our PvE/PvP and Imperial University exam totals.

FLEET NEWS

Squadron Remobilization is here! ReMob the has a few changes from last year's ReMob with the new addition of a memes category (scored like RtF) and a slight adjustment to the requirements for a few of the tiers. Squadrons are being tasked to take part in all the different types of activity the TIE Corps supports.

For my fellow IU spammers, now is your time to shine, we need to get a cumulative 12 IU courses passed in the squadron this month and you can only take a class once.

See our Squadron Chat for what goals we are pursuing and what our status is on them. Please remember to DM me for any non-tracked activity (fiction, wiki entries, etc.) so I can make sure Phoenix is aware of them.

COMPETITIONS

And now for the current competitions available to you all as members of Typhoon Squadron. Remember this is just as of today and you should always check the Competition Center for any new competitions too.

Single Player

  • SP Ace of the TIE Corps 2026 - Season Two
    • End Date – 2026/08/31
    • Synopsis – Simple, fly Single Player missions from the Database and submit a BSF with the pilot file to the website. Different games have a different point value to them but fly the platforms you like. Missions can only be flown once per year for credit.
  • Fly Straight Down the Middle - 2026
    • End Date – 2026/08/28
    • Synopsis – Every week I will assign a different free mission per the posted schedule/cycle. Fly the mission however you like (except no infinite waves in XvT/BoP). The pilot whose score is closest to average of all the scores posted for the mission that week wins. The pilot whose average performance each week is the "best" wins. The pilot whose average across 15 of the 17 weeks is "best" wins the grand prize.

Multi-Player

  • PvE Ace of the TIE Corps 2026 - Season Two
    • End Date – 2026/08/31
    • Synopsis – Simple, play any approved primary TIE Corps PvE game and submit the winning screenshots to the website. Different games have a different point value to them but fly the platforms you like.
  • PvP Ace of the TIE Corps 2026 - Season Two
    • End Date – 2026/08/31
    • Synopsis – Simple, play any approved primary TIE Corps PvP game and submit the winning screenshots to the website. Different games have a different point value to them but fly the platforms you like.
  • Sinfantry Training: 7 Deadly Sins - The Invitational
    • End Date – 2026/06/07
    • Synopsis – Starting on the 7th, do 7 Helldives on Difficulty 7 once every 7 days.
  • Spear's Monthly Game Night
    • End Date – 2027/03/31
    • Synopsis – Spear squadron is hosting a game night once a month to help foster PvE/PvP action and to make sure everyone can get the maximum multi-pilot multiplier. Keep an eye on the competition's page on Discord to know what night and what games are being played.

Art

  • Half Kit, Full Throttle
    • End Date – 2026/07/19
    • Synopsis – This one doesn't technically start until 2026/06/11, but the primary rounds would be done before my next report so adding it here early. Basically, design a football/soccer uniform for Typhoon Squadron and submit it to me and LC Daisuke Airyu by the end of June.

Fiction/Trivia

  • Trivia for the Challenged - Season 13
    • End Date – 2026/08/30
    • Synopsis – You all know the drill. Locke sends out trivia questions every week and you all answer them as quickly as you can.

Other

  • Rho's Monthly Watch Party 2026
    • End Date – 2026/12/31
    • Synopsis – For each of the 12 months in 2026, a pilot in Rho who was chosen at random, picks a movie or tv show that is rated PG-13 or less and appears on a streaming service. Maston Dane will make a voting document with times listed for that month and everyone marks each day and time that also works for them. After a few days of voting the day with the most people available is chosen and come the day we all meet up on discord coms and each of us on our own screens start at the same time. IAR for every 2 months of joining in on the watch party for at least a minimum amount of time.
  • TIE Corps Exercise: Squadron (Re)Mobilization 8
    • End Date – 2026/06/30
    • Synopsis – See discussion above in Fleet News and in Squadron Chat but basically, anything you can do for MSE points in a month, counts towards this competition too.

HOW TO ADVANCE

I won't repeat all of what I said in the first report here (go see the First Report for the detailed MSE breakdown) but will remind you all that for a month to count towards a promotion a Merit Medal (medal awarded from MSE points) must be earned. Also, want to highlight that to advance beyond Lieutenant you must pass the TIE Corps Core exam.

STANDING ORDERS

Hey...Do Stuff...
As always, the requirements of Active Duty in the TIE Corps are communicating at least once per month, whether that is talking in a Discord channel or sending me a Direct Message on Discord or an email. And then it is important to post some MSE activity at least once every other month, but preferably every month.
