I can't imagine a better way to begin a BGCOM tenure than leading a massively successful Imperial Storm campaign. I expected great things, of course, but the pilots of the Warrior and Relentless (as well as the Xanthe, playing host to Sin) immediately and constantly surpassed even my highest hopes of participation and energy. Despite our tactical retreat, your efforts were inspiring, and I am very proud to have fought beside you all. In less upbeat news, the retirement of General Aardvark after five years of dedicated service to Kappa Squadron leaves us all saddened - but I was pleased to be able to thank him for his service with a Gold Star of the Empire. His impact on his pilots, squadron and the Corps at large is indelible and impressive. Stay posted for news on his replacement, who shall arrive aboard the Warrior soon... As we enter a normal calm month in the Corps, make sure you rest and recover - but don't forget to keep your skills sharp in the simulation pods.

| IMPERIAL STORM VIII | ||||||||||||

This Imperial Storm campaign was a resounding success for Battlegroup II! Even though the Strike Fleet had to fight its way out of First Order space to find relative safety, each battle resulted in some First Order craft destroyed. Even more importantly, the participation from Battlegroup II pilots was the best in the fleet! Seen below is each participant recognized and congratulated based on how many of the battles they participated in. Spear's Monthly Game Night (Mack Udar) In a combined effort to boost camaraderie across the Fleet, Spear Squadron will be hosting a game night once a month. The game to be played will be selected by the hosting pilot of Spear Squadron, and does not have to be a primary platform of the TC. These are open to all pilots - keep your eyes open for a sign-up sheet that closes right as the game night begins! For more details, see the competition listing linked above.
SWTOR Galactic Starfighter Proficiency Cup (MsMayham) Running for the entirety of May, this competition challenges participants to achieve the highest amount of damage in a single SWTOR Galactic Starfighter match. Screenshots should be submitted to MsMayham via email at sidneybeans647@gmail.com. For more details, see the competition listing linked above.
May the Fourth Collectable Cavalcade (Maston Dane) In celebration of May the 4th, participants submit photographs of a single item, or group of items fitting a single theme, that falls under the idea of a Star Wars collectible item(s) or object(s). Submissions are entered by posting the photograph to the Discord channel #collectibles-etc and notifying the competition runner via DMs at Maston_Dane or by pinging in the original post. Photographs must include a card with the submitter’s name and date; this text needs to be part of the original image and not added to the image after being taken to ensure authenticity.
