BGII Family,

It is an honor to be given the opportunity to serve as your Battlegroup Commander.

I follow in the footsteps of hugely influential admirals - JetMech, Marenta, and fr0Zen - and the intimidation of their legacies is not lost on me. My experience in leadership, both as Rho Squadron's CMDR and the Reconnaissance Officer, is a strong foundation, but I remain intent on always learning how better to serve and lead.

There is no replacement for Vice Admiral fr0Zen's approachability, positivity, and culture-building. We are all indebted to his efforts, and I thank him for his more than three years of leadership in BGII. His style has influenced a large number of current leaders, and his mark on the Corps goes far beyond his own efforts.

I am excited to begin this role, and am dedicated to serve the Battlegroup as faithfully, fully, and fervently as possible.

The annual Imperial Storm competition rapidly approaches! Make sure that it is on your calendar as starting on the first of April at 00:01, Galactic Standard Time.

Keep your eyes peeled for information in the #battlegroup-announcements and #rtf-impstorm-remob Discord channels. We will be planning, discussing, and voting about the war efforts there. Make your voice heard!

Spear's Monthly Game Night (Mack Udar)

In a combined effort to boost camaraderie across the Fleet, Spear Squadron will be hosting a game night once a month. The game to be played will be selected by the hosting pilot of Spear Squadron. These are open to all pilots - keep your eyes open for a sign-up sheet that closes right as the game night begins! For more details, see the competition listing linked above.

Recon Office Presents - Rally the Troops (Maston Dane)

Participating pilots are to produce a social media post praising, promoting, or discussing the Emperor’s Hammer with the goal of receiving the most positive feedback on the post as possible. The post with the most points wins (see competition listing linked above for details on scoring).
