Raise the Flag 2025 beings in a few short hours at 00:01 UTC tonight, this being the next instalment of the TIE Corps fleet wide event that decides our future leading Battlegroup, Squadron and Pilot!
For those of you that are new to this event, the story is simple – every activity that you partake in during the month of September counts for ranking as an individual pilot. These scores roll upwards to your squadrons total against the others, and from that up to your battlegroup against the other two!
As per usual we have a total of FOUR bonus rounds, each lasting two weeks. One pair revolves around fiction writing and another around art (or graphics) these can be found in the competition listing or at the bottom of this report. The two pairs run back to back, with the first set starting on September 1st.
Compared to last year, I’d like to highlight a few key differences (improvements!)
- Single Player has been revamped, whereas previously a pilot had a flat score for each mission completed depending on the platform and the chance of a high score bonus, this year we have re-worked it courtesy of a idea from AD Locke Setzer. All submissions will be given the basic score, so if spam flying the compendium is your thing, go right ahead! Any submission that comes in between 25% and 49% of the High Score at the time of submission will get a 50% bonus of the platform score, 50% - 74% gains a 100% bonus and any submission above 75% will gain a 150% bonus.
- Imperial University Courses have been boosted from 10 points to 21 points. This is based on the TCCS math(s) that this is what you may get doing MP or SP activities over the same time that the course takes. So go forth and have fun with the books!
- Finally, the Art & Fiction bonus competitions this year feature THREE potential prompts for round one courtesy of SA Kamjin Maverick Lap'lamiz. The link can be found in the specific competitions below and links out this to this years storyline document that guided Imperial Storm and now Raise the Flag – complete with characters we are expecting to see worked into your submission in some way.

Due to the uneven size between the different battelgroups, we will be using the same system as last year to give the smaller battlegroups a initial starting bonus - this is done relative to the headcount of the largest battlegroup and excludes Sub-Lieutenants from the calculation.
