RHO SQUADRON REPORT #25

REPORTING OFFICER: Colonel Alexandre Morgan, Squadron Commander

RECIPIENTS: General Gilbert H. Frown; cc: Rho Squadron

DATE SUBMITTED: 07.01.2025

SQUADRON COMMANDER'S CORNER

(The Squadron ReMobilization reports began to spit out, displayed on Colonel Alexandre Morgan's datapad that was recessed into his stately desk. CAM-9 stood beside him as they both began to read and digest what they were seeing.

Green icons lit up half the screen, indicative of completion of those specific tasks. Some others were gold and bronze, signifying partially-finished tasks. Morgan was particularly proud to see not a single empty box, meaning that progress had been made on every single one by a group of his pilots.

Cam nodded with happiness as he watched the report complete its generation. "They did well," he said. "Nobody did nothing, and that is fantastic to see." Cam was right - almost each pilot had a strong list of activities and achievements beside their name, evidence of diverse activity and meaningful cooperation.

Morgan smiled. "The team definitely spent a lot of time together, and there weren't too many issues, eh?" That drew a chuckle from Cam.

"Alright," Cam said as he straightened up from his lean over the desk. "I'm gonna head out so you can focus and write a report full of glowing praise, like I know you always do. Perhaps I'll get a glowing endorsement for my hard work as well?"

"We'll have to see about that, seeing that you haven't gotten in a cockpit on recon duty in, how long now?" Morgan joked as Cam strolled out of his office. Breathing deep with contentment, he opened up a new document to begin typing.)

Pilots of the Rho Family,

Congratulations on a fantastic ReMob month! Faced with a massive variety of tasks and challenges, we rose above, collaborated, and succeeded. I am very proud of each and every one of you and your contributions to the team. Check the Squadron (Re)Mobilization VII section below for details about how we did!

Even without the ReMob event, June was another fantastic month to be a part of the Rho Family. With brilliant leaderboard placements, large amounts of fiction written, countless exams passed, so many articles written, and final day buzzer-beaters, we really shone this month. I'm proud to be your CMDR every month, but this month grew my pride that much more.

Specific congratulations go out to the newly-minted Major Davy Jonez on his promotion, and Colonel Davalorn on his four-year-anniversary in the Corps.

It's time to relax and refresh now. I'll be checking in with everyone individually, and let's make sure that we have a great July!

For Rho Squadron! Long may it reign!

SQUADRON NEWS
  • Our very own Davy Jonez has been promoted to Major! Congratulations on the new rank, Major Captain Jonez.
  • Congratulations to Colonel Westric Davalorn for his four year anniversary in the TIE Corps!
  • ReMob was a smashing success! Check out the section below for details about how we did and what we did.
  • Rho Squadron had a fantastic showing on the May leaderboards:
    • Westric Davalorn represented Rho on the SP leaderboard, scoring 9th overall.
    • Davy Jonez placed 5th on the PvP killboard, and Isabis Kamaria rounded out Rho's placement in 8th.
  • The activity details below represent the entire month of June, from 6.01 to 6.30.
SQUADRON (RE)MOBILIZATION VII

7800b8f1.png

  • With the help of Westric Davalorn and Vanguard88, Rho smashed the Single Player tiers, completing 100% of the SP mission tiers and 75% of the Free Mission tiers. Davalorn completed 50 missions to make this massive total a reality, and during the final 48 hours Vanguard brought his characteristic determination to drive the totals to the next tier thresholds
  • Rho overshot the kill amount highest tier total by 444% primarily due to the skilled flying of Isabis Kamaria on the SWTOR sim and Maston Dane and Davy Jonez using the BFII Starfighter Assault package.Through their constant efforts during the month, this number never stopped creeping ever-upward despite being completed fully during the first couple days of the competition!
  • The PvP tiers were completed with the largest collaborative effort that the event drew from Rho pilots. With Miguel working with his CMDR on the finer intricacies of lightsaber combat, and Davy Jonez finding all whom he could play with during his trek nearing 90 Legions of Combat, the success in these two tiers is evidence of a month full of hard work, scheduling, and collaboration to properly demonstrate Rho Squadron's prowess on every type of battlefield. An important mention goes to Maston Dane and Davy Jonez for, in the final waning hours (no more than two to go!) completing one of these tiers fully. Impressive last-minute work!
  • Despite previously being a mainstay in Rho Squadron's ReMob journey, the PvE goal did not receive much love this month. Due to the emphasis on other areas and the natural and casual flow of the event, the CMDR is willing to take the blame here for the strategic de-prioritization.
  • The textbooks and tomes of the Imperial University were dusted off this month to complete almost three tiers worth of exams. Featuring three completed by Jai Thorne, two by Westric Davalorn, and one by the CMDR, Rho Squadron is better educated for this event happening without question. An honorable mention goes to Davy Jonez for his last-minute attempt on this task that was repeatedly thwarted by non-cooperative technology.
  • Pen met paper not only for studying, but for creative fiction as well. Jai Thorne wrote a piece to kick off this tier, and during the final week the CMDR brought it home with a massive biographical recounting.
  • The Encyclopaedia Imperia is renowned as the premier information collection system the Emperor's Hammer has. Due to Rho Squadron's nine new or edited articles, it has been improved that much more. Featuring four contributions from Westric Davalorn, four last-minute ones from the CMDR, and one from Jai Thorne, the wealth of the Encyclopaedia is now much for the better.

In summation, the combined collaborative efforts of the Rho Family paints a beautiful greenish picture of success and dedication. Each pilot participated to their ability and expertise to get the job done - and get the job done we did. Completing 33 of 48 available tiers (69%), we almost achieved the lofty goal the CMDR set before the competition to drive the group. My personal congratulations and thanks goes out to every single pilot who participated here - it truly was an honor working with you and seeing you all work together!
