THE NEW EMPIRE (Continuation)
III
The first shake woke us up. The following strikes on the fuselage
put us immediately on guard.
- Asteroids? one of the Ensigns asked, while he strengthened on his
seat under the evident oscillation of our conveyor.
- No, Von Predator said. With a very worried aspect he went onto
the pilots’ cabin. Then what?… most of us thought. Every impact was
stronger, and it was obvious that pilots were carrying out emergency
evasive maneuvers. The plates on the wall from which we were held
up, started vibrating intensely and the electric circuits started
sparkling everywhere.
- This is going to explode at any time!… Ensign O’Ryan shouted, who
made big efforts next to me to hold up himself before the strong
shakes of our conveyor.
The Lieutenant Von Predator came back to our cabin in the middle of
a big mess full of smoke and sparks. We saw him to strongly fastened
on his seat. Then he address to us trying to make him understood in
the middle of the growing noise of impacts and panels breaking
around him.
- We are in middle of a battle!… Rebels forces are attacking the
Intrepid!… We haven’t been able to determine the number and location
of them! And hiperdrives of our conveyor have been put out of action,
so we have to resist until we get the destroyer!…Fasten your seat
belts and put on your emergency equipment!…
He could not go on speaking. A strong laser impact shook our
transport making it to rotate in such a way that, despite of being
in space vacuo, we could feel it in our stomachs. Immediately
afterwards, our view was concentrated on the gate that separated us
from pilots’ cabin. It was violently vibrating and a suction force
was forcing us towards it. Everybody put on his oxygen mask and we
started checking up our emergency equipment. Through the worrying
sight of our Lieutenant we could confirm our fears. The last impact
seemed to destroy the pilots’ cabin, leaving us without guidance in
middle of the space. A new impact finish completely submerging us
into darkness, making us losing our orientation sense, as the same
time that a sudden lost of weight indicated us that artificial
gravity system had been destroyed. In the middle of this mess of
strikes and sparks around me, my last conscious thought was about my
home, about the quiet and sweet sky of Ashtalon, and about the
uncountable farms covering the soil of my native planet…
To be continue.........................

Greetings.
Another excellent
performance of CPT Rando in TCPL. He obtained the first place in TIE,
and second place in XvT and XWA. Also CPT Rando has excelled in our
internal competition Project 659 obtaining 02 IS-BW. GN Ric Hunter
continues to complete battles and we expect that he complete many
more during this month.
Do not forget that the FL position of wing three of our squadron is
vacant. Any member of the Tie Corps who is interested in this
position will be very welcome. Just send your request to my e-mail
ehbranet@yahoo.com
with a copy to RA Hav Antiel (havantiel@gmail.com),
and AD Plif (plif346@gmail.com)
indicating your interest. Take this opportunity to gain experience
and rank within the TC, in addition to being members of one of the
best squadrons of the Warrior!.

COMPETITIONS |
I will summarize competitions that apply to Sin in this section, but you should always check the Competitions Center and Combat Center for full details on all competitions.
- Project 659
Each month, fly the SP battles indicated in the Sin Weekly Squadron Report and earn bonus points for high scores and fastest submissions.
- Commodore's Library
Each month in the commodores report their will be a new theme listed. Write at least a paragraph about the theme to participate. Winner will get the title of Commodore's Librarian and will choose the next theme for the report.
- Top Muse
Each week submit your idea to AD Pete Mitchell
for participation.
- Wing II Commander's Escort Flight / Warrior Commodore's Escort Flight
These are MP and SP versions of the same comp: fly enough missions to rank among the top four on the Warrior for the month to earn points. Iron Stars are awarded to the top four every month with a quarterly bonus. For the Commodore's Escort Flight,
LoCs and LoSs are summed for the total.
- TIE Corps on Patrol
For 2018, TCoP is moving to every other week. VA Pete Mitchell is taking the TCoP helm this year, so please note that BSF emails/pilot files will be due by 5 pm Pacific/8 pm Eastern/1 am London one every other Monday starting January 15.
- TIE Corps Pilot League
Like TCoP, the Pilot League is a single-player comp taking place every other week. The difference here is that pilots have a rolling handicap. Each round, the pilot with the highest handicap score (expressed as a percentage of the high score) in each platform will earn 4 points. The next highest score will earn 3, the next highest 2, and all other submissions will earn 1. If the winning pilot in a platform also beat the high score (without the handicap added), that pilot will earn 5 points for that platform.
- TIE Corps on Recon
Submit a screenshot each week from one of Star Conflict's multiplayer game modes (Domination, Beacon Hunt, PvE, Team Battle, and Combat Recon). Iron Stars are awarded weekly and monthly based on unique criteria for each game mode.
- TIE Corps vs AI
Submit a screenshot each week from Star Conflict's Player vs. AI modes. Iron Stars are awarded weekly and monthly based on unique criteria for each game mode.

The points will be tracked and an IS-BW medal awarded for every 5
points and an IS-SW medal for every 20 points.
