A landmark of sorts, albeit one that should have been crossed 20 reports ago - more a comment on my apparent fortnightly approach to WSRs. Oddly enough its never intentional but more a quirk that I've not been able to shake off! Regardless its been a steady fortnight and I'm happy to note a number of positive TC items - namely the return of a number of pilots, a cluster of medals and as many promotions. A welcome to all returnees and congratulations to all whose activity and perseverance has earned just reward.

Warrior Day approaches with a little over 2 weeks to go, I'd like to take the chance to encourage everyone to vote in the Warrior of the Year competition - while TIE and Frown are potential entries I'd very much like to see someone vaguely useful acknowledged. My vote has been cast and was given to the pilot I rate highly when held against the rest of the wing - I'd heartily encourage everyone else to take it seriously, we don't all earn medals or promotions, even for those of us who do the acknowledgement of our peers should be the ultimate goal. That 3rd person was in no way self-referencing! Take note of the banner comp presently running as well, I have zero gfx capability but will still be submitting a child-like msPaint effort in the days to come. Doesn't take much effort to join in.

MSE was submitted early last week, a few days later than I was hoping but again due to RL commitments rather getting in the way of my vibrant online activity. I've recently popped back into SC, if any Thetans feel like joining me they are certainly welcome. Yoda has continued to clean house with the ongoing Thetan Ace competition; with 4 free missions last week including a HS as well as 4 missions including 2 HS the previous week - a pair of IS-BWs are being forged as we speak. Unfortunately I've not had any LoCs appear in my inbox so the MP elemen goes unclaimed again!

Theta Competitions

Thetan Aces ongoing, IS-BWs for the previous fornight's SP are headed to Yoda. With totals of 4 claiming the medals it's not going to be difficult for any challenger to step up, while any MP activity may well secure the next weeks MP crown!

Operational Picture

…Bunting. I joined the navy to defend what's left of the Empire, I'm a trained killer with a death sentence on a thousand civilised Rebel worlds. I once beat a man to death with my astromech droid during an escape after I got shot down over an enemy held area. I command the Hammer's Fist detachment onboard this fine vessel, with thousands of troopers at my beck and call, and my command priority from the COM... just to be absolutely clear... is to assign bunting by shape and colour to my platoons. Words fail me...

...This is going to turn into a popularity contest and you know it, Frown's already started being weird, by which I mean nice - or at least his version of it... When he hands out paperwork he's annotated it with flags and stickers to be actually useful, for him thats a big move. I heard a few of the Kappans talking about their Crew Chief, apparently he's providing bootleg alcohol to anyone who votes for him as "Warrior of the Year" - no-ones had the ehart to tell him its anonymous, he's far too trusting...
