Description: Formerly an Elite bodyguard squadron for the Infiltrator Wing Commander, Scorpion Squadron has been reformed as the premier Interceptor and Escort Squadron in Wing XXII. Whenever the Battlegroup is threatened, VIP transports are arriving or departing, or an Alpha Strike is deployed, Scorpion pilots are the first pilots to launch. Flying the advanced FreiTek E-7 "E-Wing", Scorpion bring nigh-unparalleled speed, agility, and firepower to any combat engagement.

Scorpion Squadron is home to players with multiple talents; counting scholars, writers and artists, mission builders, and Single- and Multiplayer Aces amongst its ranks. Scorpion Squadron pilots engage in the classics such as X-Wing vs TIE Fighter or X-Wing Alliance, and more modern games such as Empire at War, EA Battlefront 2, Squadrons, and Star Conflict. Activity-wise, Scorpion Squadron pilots are encouraged to contribute only what they are able and comfortable with.
