  Name and rank:   Colonel Stryker

  ID line:   CMDR-WARD/COL Stryker/Firebird/Wing X/ISDII Challenge

  Gender:   Male

  Species:   Human

  Date of Birth:   2BBY

  Place of Birth:   Alderaan

  Marital Status:   Single

Family information:   Stryker's parents were displaced when Alderaan was destroyed, having been visiting family on Naboo. They joined the Rebellion soon afterwards and he has not seen them since.

Social status:   As an orphan, Stryker isn't considered to have much in the way of social capital. However, he has access to his parents' accounts, and has enough money to keep his X-Wing and R6 Astromech, Sparky, in working order.

Significant events of childhood:   At age 14, Stryker ran away from home; renouncing his family name (but keeping the bank accounts). After two years drifting the galaxy and generally not enjoying life under the New Republic, he met an Emperor's Hammer recruiter who influenced him to join.
Flying TIEs did not sit well with young Stryker, however, who had learned to fly in an old T-47 airspeeder, and his transfer to Red Squadron and the more familiar controls of the X-Wing were more his style.
Though he admits he rose to command too soon for his own mental health, command of Red Squadron and Wing XXI were both also defining events in his youth.

Significant events of adulthood:   Following the Astatine coup, Stryker deserted the Emperor's Hammer and spent the next decade wandering the galaxy again; however this time he was intent on helping people, those the New Republic ignored. During this time he loved, he lost, and he raged, but mostly kept his head down and tried to enjoy life as a civilian.
This was not to last forever, however, as the increasing corruption and bureaucracy in the New Republic, not to mention a visit by an agent of New Republic Intelligence, convinced him to return to the only place he'd felt truly at home.

Alignment and attitude:   Stryker was once a youthful hothead who has tempered with age, but still maintains his fierce sense of justice and rebellious streak.

Previous occupations:   Several mundane jobs over the decade between service periods, including librarian, bartender, sanitation worker, etc.

Hobbies:   Stryker reads and doodles in his spare time.

Tragedies in life:   Though Stryker does not remember them, his major tragedy is losing his parents. Though he knows they were killed by Imperial forces, he blames the Rebellion for sending them on the mission that gets them killed.

  Phobias and allergies:

  Views on the Empire and
the TIE Corps:
The Empire was a vast military dictatorship that suppressed the basic rights of all species in the name of war and order. Its fall was necessary.
The Emperor's Hammer intends to restore peace and justice to the galaxy but without the xenophobia or genocides the previous regime was known for.

  Reason for enlisting in
the TIE Corps:
To protect people, and to oust the corrupt New Republic.

Other comments:   Stryker isn't your average Imperial, to the point he doesn't consider himself Imperial at all. He tries to keep politics out of his life where possible, and focuses on the mission at hand or his own personal goals. If the two prove mutually exclusive, things might get interesting...
