It's a solid X-wing mission. Fairly easy as the scales are definitely weighted on the friendly side, but a fun encounter.

No "Mission complete" message at the end. You just know you're by yourself if you wait until all friendlies left.

When I saw what's coming out of hyper I thought it would be a longer mission. It turned out to be relatively short. Your wingmen do a great job wiping enemies left and right. Friendly force is likely too overpowered for the enemies present. It's an okay mission to fly, nothing too fancy though.

XWing CD:
1: Download and install XCD from the SCO Site (http://sco.minos.net), files archive, the edittors

4. Fly the first "Historical Combat" mission for the "X-Wing".

Description
-----------
This mission is part of a series of free missions about each of the squadrons in the ASF doing
missions following their squadron objective in their assigned craft. Each mission tries to give
a feel and a bit of history of each of the Squadrons. All the storylines of the missions are
interconnected and have the ASF Squadron join together against a common foe.

Story Line
----------
[Intruder Squadron], 116th TIE Corps Squadron, of Wing XIX is based upon the [ISDII Hammer] and its
objective is [Infiltration]. Infiltration Squadrons often operate well behind enemy lines, specializing
in sabotage, espionage and surprice attacks. To launch surprise attacks DEEP in enemy held territory,
Infiltration Squadrons would be able to perform these missions in small flight groups so large amounts
of EH assets are not risked.

A Pirate called Le Chuck, caught by Hellcat Squadron on customs patrol, has decided to go for the EH
Witness Protection Program and rat out on his New Republic buddy: the Duke of Nister - leader of the
New Republic Forces in this area.

According to Le Chuck, the NR is placing ambushes for Corporate Division convoys around common
hyperbuoys in the Pyrath System. Obviously we are going to check up on this and put a stop to it if
it's true. To this end, we're going to use the FRG Chisel to lure the Rebel into a counter-ambush .

NOTE
-------------------
You need X-W CD or '95, as far as i know no other patches are needed. I cannot assure it will run on
X-W disk as it might exceed its maximum craft amounts. You'd need the B-Wing and Imperial Pursuit
add-ons to play.
The added XWA Skirmish version is an extra and only added for those with XWA that would enjoy this
mission in Multiplay. XvT Players wanting to do the same can extract the combat version out of
XvT-FCHG#1, its mission 2.
