Do not recommend doing this mission in the experimental TIE, it is much better to have a stronger shield when taking on the INT.
Disappointing. This mission starts out with some classical feeling, target practice like the old TIE Fighter days, and if you choose the TIE X1 it's even more fun and exotic, but as mission unfolds into an all-hands battle between a rebel fleet and your units, sinking an INT only on lasers, even if they are heavy lasers of the Experimental 1, it's boring and tedious, close to frustration. Word of advice, choose any of the heavier craft the creator provided as alternatives. Skiprays or GUNs. But unless you have to fly this for points, go elsewhere.
Not a bad mission. No real surprises with the story line, but the mission is well structured. The combination of fighters and capital ships make for just the right mix. Not impossibly hard, and not so easy that it doesn't take some work to beat.

Title: Target Practice Missions: #1 Medal: N/A Game Platform: X-Wing Alliance Author:FL/CM RogueWing/Ghost 2-1/Wing XI/ISD Immortal (roguewing25@yahoo.com) Installation Instructions: 1] Double click the .EHM file, the EH Battle Launcher will install the battle. 2] Check the Misc folder in your XWA for additional material like patches, emails or sounds. 3] In EHBL, create a new "EH Pilot" in the Game Menu (Check "Prepare for EH Battle"). 4] Press the X-Wing Alliance button to start XWA and fly the battle. 5. Place the shiplist in the XWingAlliance directory. (It allows you to fly the TIE Experimental M1.) 6. If you want to fly the Assault Gunboat, you must install the S-Foil patch included. Note: Requires the EH Crest patch Description: As a new pilot aboard the ISD Immortal, you will go through a variety of tests before you are assigned to a squadron. The first test is target practice.
