Pretty standard mission really - easy to get the main objectives done, extra ones doe need some tactical thinking, even on easy.
The mission itself is fine, no bugs, straightforward as to what you have to do. I flew it on easy, but here are a couple of ideas. So first, make sure you pack a lot of rockets, you have a lot of platforms to take out. Second, I saw the objective was 'passengers safe and sound' and nearly took out my wingmates trying to protect them - turns out...
I played on Easy. You just need to kill capital ships with rockets. You are more than equipped to deal with the capital ships since you're in Gunboats. The mission is incredibly fast.
Gunboat with rockets, is there really anything else that feels just like it? No there isn't, taking a run and destroying a bunch of stuff is amazing. In this one you have a few capital ships to destroy and a couple of platforms. Reign hell on them!
Echoing some of the other reviews here by stating this is carpet bombing heaven. All you need to do is destroy the enemy platforms which with 4 GUN's carrying 16 rockets each is very quick and easy with virtually no challenge.
The gunboat chocolate factory. Rocket barrage galore and let those platforms burn! Not sure why people make these missions so blunt. Add some challenge into it or some form of extra flying. Don't get me wrong, I always enjoy blowing this up. So in that regard, this mission serves that 'fix' well. But that's about it.
Standard assault mission, which can be taken in the GUN with a full load of rockets. Quick, easy and to-the-point, this mission yields some 5 minutes of carpet bombing fun.

Each mission tries to give a feel and a bit of history of each of the Squadrons. All the storylines of the missions are interconnected and have the ASF Squadron join together against a common foe. Story Line ---------- Evidence uncovered at a platform Odin captured has revealed that Genko System is deeper into its involvements with the NR then previously thought - they apparently are the worst type of traitors, ones that keep their treason hidden for as long as possible so they can do more harm... even going as far as to attack rebels in our presence to keep the masquerade going. The EH has had it with the System and will send in Tartarus to take out the population of a Genko space colony to pay for their System's treachery. After that we might even have some more fun.
