I mean the author warned that this was meant to be an easy mission and he wasn't lying. Very quick mission

I guess the mission itself is pretty straightforward but fails to deliver any real challenge, though while it lasted was fun enough. The other thing is the Tiss & Mike novella, which in today's terms could have been seen as pure #metoo material, controversial to the core of it. Alas, the mission was written some 20 years ago, when highest concern was post-Y2K apocalypse, I guess. Worth 1 point FCHG of murky intentions.

I've always found the Tiss and Mike story and battles to be really creepy. The first person perspective is jarring and unrelatable. It smacks terribly of white knight attitudes and the power balance of the fictional relationship is disturbing, to say the least. Anyway, this mission does provide a quick completion but adequate challenge on hard so this rating is overly harsh... but really, just ick.

I hope it is not based on true events? Unless it has a happy ending. ;) The briefing and storyline are ok. If the mission design was as good as the inflight messages, this would have been a great mission. Unfortunately it is not. It's a filler mission. Fly it only if you have to.

So, the mission is fairly straightforward; fly to a point in space, kill the bad guys, etc. Pretty standard stuff. What I didn't expect, and what stopped this getting a high score, was the unnecessary 'he's an Admiral and I love him' in the debrief screen. It's just not needed!

Generally, a poor mission.
