This one is really bad. Some missions just get completed without doing anything, and there is a crazy mission in which you have to avoid to have any losses in your squad, all while disabling T/As in a crippled no beams no warheads GUN. I mean, the war-mule can do a lot of things, but this was just pure silly. Word of advice, fly Crusader 2, since every enemy will shoot at it and wipe it out immediately. A real pain and a waste of time. Don't fly this. Head elsewhere.

Crap. Utter crap. Two missions pose no challenge at all (literally nothing that shoots back), and another is very nearly impossible on *easy*. What's more, the actual plot is a childish attempt to justify the actions of Crusader when they jumped ship and became Diamondback. The plot remains as incomprehensible as the actual incident. For ridiculous design, ludicrous premise and cheap plot riddled with spelling and grammatical errors, I rate this battle as a -10 (reluctantly rounded up to a 0 for the purposes of the review scale)

This Battle has everything – Great Briefing – annoying game play – Brilliant puzzles – with Mission classic and those Mission which, are just complete waste of time. Overhaul I found the whole battle rather disappointing.

one word-bad. even on easy mission 2 is like one of the missions that came with the game on hard. Disabling the GUN's is okay in #3 but in #4 it's practically impossible to disable T/A's with gunboats with no loses, i could understand if it was like imperials vs. pirates as we are better than pirates, but 4 GUN's from EH could not disable another EH squadron, especially outnumbered. And i would also hope that EH pilots wouldn't go kill someone because they 'killed' an officer, yet only DISABLED 8 friendly fighters attacking them. I hated it, the most frustrating battle i have ever flown

This is the worst mission that I've ever been through. I don't understand why anybody would rate it about 1, mission 1 is an automatic failure unless you set it on easy. Missio two, you're supposed to disable other GUN's while they outnumber you two to one. And it never ends. I will not submit any pilot-file unless this piece of crap has been totally reworked.

Plot needs an overhaul. As for missions, well 3 and 4 are some of the worst I've ever seen. Like disabling T/As with a 4 GUNs, and without any casualties on your side...that's stratching it a bit far.

This is the third time that I’ve download and played this battle. Sorry to say even with the bug fix, third of the missions are pointlessly frustrating, nearly half are just completely pointless, and the victory condition on all missions needs to be reworked. Completed mission 2 then for next 30 minutes wave after wave of enemy starfighters appeared. Talk about bolting the stable door after horse has gone. But the battle has some nice touches and some good idea, it was nice not to kill everything in sight, so I recommend that you give this battle ago.

Excellent storyline with the missions tightly following the plot. The story is very easy to follow. Some missions are extremely easy (#1 and 5) while others are extremely challenging (#4). I do not rate this a 5 because some missions are ultimately unplayable when the pilot is not in the hotseat -- and a pilot must first fly each mission to discover which of the four craft options is best to beat each mission.
