This was a fun one. The 4th mission is a time sink, thank goodness for time acceleration. Other than that, the story was good, the combat felt good without being over the top challenging, and it flowed well.

The missions themselves are fairly standard, and the story is brief, but coherent. Overall the battle is pretty easy to get through, with the exception of M4. If not for time acceleration, I'd recommend no one ever fly the battle. With? Go do some laundry or something after the fighters are gone. The mission will be done (probably) when you get back.

An average, relatively problem free battle, but it is completely ruined by the 4th mission whereby you wait for EIGHT docking operations, long after the battle is won. The battle itself is not hard - it's just very tedious indeed.

A mixed battle. It copies existing missions from the original campaign and modifies them. The first mission is a shameless copy of B1M1. The fourth and fifth missions appear to be copies of B8M4 and B8M5, but are much more heavily modified. The second and third missions are generic enough that they could come from almost anything, but my guess is B1M2 and B1M3. A minor nitpick: in theory copying missions should provide an example of how to use page stops in the briefing, but that's not the case here. Aside from B1M1, the actual content is mostly just a series of dogfights with the occasional bombing run. Each mission is stuffed full of craft on both sides, attempting to create giant battles that are sometimes too big, or too prolonged. Luckily it appears to be bug-free, though I suspect there may be a bug with the craft limit in the final mission. The primary objectives are easy, but scoring is tedious. This would be easy to spam through except for #4. The combat is over quickly, but you'll need to use time acceleration for the next half of the mission, waiting for craft to finish docking. It takes about 35 minutes on the clock.

Great plot and fun battles (if a little on the easy side). As mentioned previously, the fourth mission is LONG; just waiting for docking and boarding takes nearly 40 minutes! Even at 4x, that ends up being a lot of idle time. That aside, this is a great battle with a variety of mission types.

Should get a 3.5 in Ford's estimation. Almost through the whole thing, it's a *very* good, well-designed battle. Easy to complete for those of you who just want to get it finished, and extra ships and goals to complete if you're going for high scores. Well-done...*except* for mission 4. Which ruined the whole battle. 10 minutes to complete the battle, then 25 more minutes to wait for the rest of the craft to dock with the bloody station so you can complete primary mission objectives >:
