Somehow this is worse than the original which is something onto itself. It still contains the same bugs as the original, and new ones that the first one did not. Featuring such curious decisions such as having your bombers start at 0% shields while launching under the guns of 2 nebulon B frigates, being targeted by an entire squadron of ties at the very beginning of the mission and only minor changes between xvt and bop (swapping the factories for shipyards and adding b-wings in one mission), it is one to forget.

Worst battle in the IW section of BoP. The storyline and briefings aren't bad, so the battle look promising follow up of the initial Rion's Shadow saga. But as soon as you start, the first mission will redefine a new threshold for pointless waiting. The other missions are messy and inconsistent. In a few words, this battle was plain boring and meaningless. Play elsewhere. You have been warned.

Probably the most boring battle I ever flew. Especially the first mission made me think of new definitions to the word 'boring'. The last missions aren't that fun either. Going up against capital ships and installations time after time with just lasers isn't quite my idea of fun. I don't have any comments on the technical part of the battle however, that's why I still gave it a 2.

Battle is good but first mission sucks. It's really long and boring. You have to wait almost 10 minutes for some X/Ws. They suck. And you must wait again for your ETRs to dock.
Battle Bug Reports
2024-09-29
Mission 1: Y-Wing Razor 3 collides with freighter chance and is destroyed due to having conflicting flight paths. Multiple sentences missing punctuation.
Mission 2: No mission complete message. Messages incorrectly to state to go home after Corvettes are destroyed, not golan platforms.
Mission 3: Rejuvenator spelled incorrectly. Valkyrie spelled incorrectly. No mission complete message.
Mission 4: Once Primary mission objectives are completed, T/A Elite 1 immediately aborts mission while the rest do not. Rejuvenator spelled incorrectly. No mission complete message. Serpent's smile, Challenger & Griffin have arrival/departure trigger errors.
Mission 5: ISD Serpent’s Smile collides with CRS Warspite 25:40 into the mission and destroys the Warspite and itself, depending on its shields/hull. All starships designated as secondary targets instead of primary targets. Y-Wing shields do not charge on hard, they go to 14% and then stay there, even if they lose hull the shields do not regenerate. Warspite spelled incorrectly. No mission complete message.

Mission 1: Razor flight destroys Rebel X-wings instead of disabling them for capture as per primary objectives.

2] Check the Misc folder in your BoP one for additional material like patches, sounds etc.
3] Press the Balance of Power button to start BoP and fly the battle.
