A simple mission where you face wave after wave of X-Wings and Y-Wings; a fun shoot-'em-up but no real storyline to speak of. A definite contender for a High Score competition like TCiB!
The crest is a nice touch (see d/led zip). The debriefing at the end is also somewhat speculative, as I did depart before the blue frg was destroyed. That's where the good starts and ends though. I didn't mind the waiting time at the beginnning. It was done in a way at least that made sense. The mission suffers from a couple of things. The rebels are spawning what can only be described an endless barage of xwings and ywings but it's done in such a ludicrous way it is like shooting fish in a barrel. The ATRs are well positioned to help you rip them apart as they spawn. Not sure what that is about. The Calamari is not exactly in a rush to shoot anything down. Finally, throughout the mission, the only true risk of dying was crushing into a friendly ATR accidentally.
Not really a great mission. The opposition is too weak especially when the blue force arrives. Trio of ATRs mopped up everything in matter of seconds, the cruiser and what was left of the fighters, before I knew it.
Hm... well... it's a nice, easy mission. Indeed you have to wait several minutes 'til something happens, but if there would be some more radio-messages, there would be a real "Escort-atmosphere"... and, hey, at least you have enough time to build up your shields.
This mission is really too easy and does not hold any great challenge. Too much just waiting around for things to happen. But still It was nice to fly.
This is a very good mission. It is relativly easy but not too much so. The only part that was easy was when your ATRs arrived, they just cut through the enemy fighters without you having to do anything.
A good mission if a little easy, the booster ships that kamikaze the Cru take away points but beside that a good mission.
I really enjoyed this mission. I liked the new aspect of Booster ships ramming the MonCal except I lost points for there kamakazis.
